Abstract
AbstractThe President of the French fifth Republic of 1958 has a significant status on both levels ,constitutional and political, the Constitution guarantees him an active role in French political life, and the authorities he owned, as well as the method of popular election.In spite of these constitutional abilities which allowed him to assume this big position, but the role of the President of the Republic is almost disappearing in many cases as a result of the negative effects that result of the political and partisan fact.So This study attempts to examine the role of President of the Republic in the promotion of the political realityThrough the experiences of France, through the application of the Constitution of 1958.
