حول المجلة

تأسست مجلة الفتح في سنة 1997 وكانت تصدرها كلية المعلمين – الجامعة المستنصرية , وبعد تأسيس جامعة ديالى سنة 1999 أصبحت مجلة الفتح تصدر من كلية المعلمين / جامعة ديالى وكانت تعنى بنشر البحوث العلمية والإنسانية والتربوية حيث كانت تصدر بشكل فصلي أي أربعة أعداد في السنة

وقد أصبحت مجلة الفتح منذ تأسيسها مصدر كبير للمعلومات الدقيقة التي كان يستفيد منها الباحثين وطلبة الدراسات العليا إلى يومنا هذا وذلك بسبب حكمة القائمين على إصدارها ورصانتهم العلمية ,وقد تناوب على رئاسة تحرير مجلة الفتح كوكبة من الأساتذة العظام وعمل فيها مجموعة من الموظفين المبدعين , وقد توقفت مجلة الفتح عن إصدار أعدادها بين عامي 2006-2007 وذلك بسبب الظروف الأمنية التي مرت بها المحافظة اظافة إلى استشهاد سكرتير تحرير المجلة في ذلك الوقت (الدكتور حسن احمد مهاوش) رحمه الله.
وبعد استتباب الأمن في محافظة ديالى وعودة الحياة الطبيعية إلى ربوع المحافظة عادت مجلة الفتح بإصدار أعدادها وبحلتها الجديدة وخاصة بعد أن حصلت المجلة على الترقيم الدولي (issn ) وعادت مجلة الفتح لرفد المسيرة العلمية بالبحوث التربوية و النفسية القيمة ففي سنة 2008 وحسب توجيهات الوزارة أصبحت مجلة الفتح مختصة بنشر البحوث التربوية والنفسية فقط.

The school system of the Kurdistan region has adopted the new programme called “Sunrise” since 2005. This new programme needs to be evaluated and assessed in order to ensure that the curriculum is effective for promoting the learner’s English skills. The evaluation process in this study will focus on Levels 10 and11 in Secondary schools in the centre of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region. The study will be conducted by adopting Concept Input Process and Practice model that was created by Daniel Stufflebeam (2003) to be a standard model for curriculum evaluation. This model includes four main components: 1. Context: the social situations in which the curriculum is implemented. 2. Input: the human, material and financial input into the education system. 3. Process: the whole processes of teaching and learning. 4. Product or output which refers to the graduate quality (the skillful learners). This study also is conducted by employing the new perspective for quality improvement in teaching and learning processes which is called Total Quality Standards in the process of evaluation, questionnaires for English language teachers and students, as well as written tests for students. Then through the application of SPSS programme, the data was analyzed and the results were decided.

The study of processing information Methods.. For pupils with special needs.It is the first Duties to educational institutions .The tasks aimed at helping those how to develop thinking methods ,and how deal with information form that will bring them the maximum degree of compatibility with the environment and interact with the school environment. Current search targeted to: Measuring the relationship between the methods of information processing and Hand skills to pupils with special needs in the Institute for the deaf and dumb in Baquba City. The researchers transfer information processing scale to sign language. and measure information processing among pupils with special needs in the Institute for the deaf and dumb. Also they Measure hand skills to 28 pupils as sample study. In a According with use Pearson correlation coefficient, the result explains. There is significant relationship between processing information methods and hand skills to pupils with special needs in the Institute for the deaf and dumb.

The significance of the study can be synopsized in finding out the effect of aerobics exercises which are of vital role on flexibility and fitness. The paper aims at setting aerobics exercises for second year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences/ University of Diyala as well as identifying the effect of aerobics exercises on the feature of flexibility of second year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences/ University of Diyala in addition to figuring out the impact of aerobics exercises on the feature of fitness of second year female students in the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences/ University of Diyala. The two researchers hypothesized that there are statistically significant differences between pre and post tests in favor of the post-tests for the experimental group in terms of flexibility of second year female students and that there are statistically significant differences between pre and post tests in favor of the post-tests for the experimental group in terms of fitness of second year female students. Moreover, the two researchers referred to theoretical studies which contained many sections in relation to the topic of this paper. The sample of the study comprised (13) female students in the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences in the academic year (2015-2016). Furthermore, after conducting the pilot study, the two researchers set the principal tests in the study as they performed the tests of flexibility and fitness on the same outdoor fields of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences. After data collection and processing them statistically, the two researchers found out the following: 1. The use of aerobics exercises was of focal effect on developing flexibility and fitness due to its great importance for female students. 2. The suitability of the delineated exercises to the level of female students which has led to the development of flexibility and fitness. The two researchers recommended the following 1. Paying due attention to the training of aerobics exercises to develop (flexibility and fitness) because these two traits are vital and important ones to build the main basis of any sport activity. 2. Studying the impact of aerobics exercises on developing other physical and kinetic features.

Arabic, is the language of Islam, our Islamic culture and Arabic countries. It’s a live & universal language and it mixed our culture & our literature completely; insofar as we can’t realize Persian literature without learning Arabic; because our Persian language is full of Arabic words an terms. So the 16 clause of our’s Constitution has forced learning Arabic. And this is the best reason to learn Arabic language. Book, teacher and student are the most important effective factors in teaching and learning. And each of them have features and functions. This article will explain the role of each of them in the teaching and learning Arabic. The research concluded that the teacher does not speak Arabic and do not use different teaching methods. The student is not interested in learning Arabic, The family also does not consider it and The book also has flaws. After Arabic language teaching and learning projects in Iran are old and in need of modernization. At the end this article propose some useful methods for teaching & learning Arabic in schools and creating incentives for students and their families and improving the t methods of teaching Arabic.

The problem of research is limited to identify the level of aesthetic response among students at colleges of fine arts in Iraq. The aim of the research represents by identifying the level of aesthetic among students at colleges of fine arts toward visual stimuli as well as designing a tool to measure the aesthetic response level among students at colleges of fine arts, whereas the limits of research is confined with the students at the first stages in the departments of Art Education and Fine Arts / Colleges of Fine Arts at University of Baghdad and University of Diyala for the academic year 2015-2016. The research has set up a number of results, including that there are a positive significant correlation in the aesthetic response level among students at the colleges of Fine Arts in Baghdad and Diyala universities , in favor of college of art / University of Baghdad. The results show the possibility of adopting the tool of research to measure the level of aesthetic response level among students at colleges of Fine Arts towards visual stimuli.

The current research aims to detect the effect of Mathematical Modeling in: 1. The achievement of mathematics at the Third grade average students. 2. The reflective thinking skills at Third grade average students. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher formulated the following two-zero hypotheses: 1. "There is no statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students who are studying according to Mathematical Modeling and degrees of control group students who are studying in according to the traditional way in the achievement test". 2. " There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students who are studying according to Mathematical Modeling and degrees of control group students who are studying in according to the traditional way to test the reflective thinking skills ". The research community was consisted of third grade average students in all schools in center Maysan province, where the researcher applied the experiment. Al-Resala intermediate high school for boys selected randomly and in which there are two divisions for Third grade average students where distributed into two groups; one experimental and the other is control. The researcher conducted equivalence between the two groups (experimental and control) to adjust some of the variables that are related to variables research using T- test for two independent samples. These variables are (chronological age in months, the overall average, the former mathematics achievement, intelligence, and the education level of parents). The researcher prepared two types of teaching plans. The first one is for the control group according to (the traditional way) and the second is for the experimental group that studied according to Mathematical Modeling. The researcher prepared two tools to the research. The first represents the achievement test in mathematics for third stage students. It was consisted of (20) items. The second tool is a test of reflective thinking skills, which was consisted of (20) items. The research results reveal that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) for the benefit of students, who are studying according to Mathematical Modeling in the achievement test and skills of thinking. At the end of the research, the researcher formulated a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

The research aims to know the effect of typical educational-learning in critical thinking for students of mathematics department at University of Diyala. the sample formed of students from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Diyala of the first stage, for the academic year 2015-2016 , the researchers prepaid the critical thinking test in three areas, namely, induction and Eduction, Knowledge of assumptions ,Applied on a prospective sample , Found reliability coefficient (0.89) , the sample was divided into two groups the experimental that is taught by using instructional design model of learning and the control that is taught in the usual way. It is cleared from the results of research that the there is a difference statistically significant between the average of scores of the control group and experimental group in the total thinking critic test . In each of its fields, and this difference attributed to the training program , the experimental group was subjected to direct or indirect training in the fields of thinking which led to the supremacy in this test, while members of the control group did not have the opportunity to undergo such a program. The excellence of experimental group (that is learned in accordance with the learning instructional design the control group, which is taught by the way of lecture, in the total thinking critic test In each of its fields) attributed to organize content according to educational activities which are designed based on careful planning to organize content and management, and in the light of the results reached by the authors of this research proposes the following: 1-Give teach critical thinking importance that fit this type of thinking so that our students can think at all levels the right thinking and distinguish things events by appropriate data thinking. 2-The organizers of the curriculum is working as well as on the application for the development goals of thinking and bring it on the ground and not just written in the goals of the curriculum without special regard to the curricula in mathematics and activated by realistic.

this research aims to: 1-knowing the level of teaching quality of thinking in the colleges of education. 2-knowing the differences in teaching quality of in education colleges ,according to the specialization variable of (scientific & humanities). To achieve the research aims the veseare hers has ascale of teaching quality of thinking and has exposed it on a group of jouri in educational & psychological sciences to make sure of the validity of the items, the jouriy has agreed on them by 80% percentage . the researchers got the comstruct validity by the discriminationof the items , while the reliabity of the scale was (0,82) by test- retest method. The sample consists of (200 students of college education of women . The reswlts of the research: - The level of the teaching quality of thinking was low. - There are differences in the teaching quality of thinking according to the specialization variable of (scientific & humanities) in the interest of humanity specialization according to the students point of view.

Immigration is one of the oldest social phenomena that has accompanied man's existence on earth. In many cases, it was a means of survival and preservation of the species against the natural and social crises. Academically, immigration is studied nowadays by several sciences: sociology, anthropology, economics, politics and psychology. Sociology especially concentrates on this phenomenon because it is a collective behavior on which important results on the general social organization of the communities are based. The other social sciences support sociology in a collective unity that aims at gaining a comprehensive objective knowledge of all the taken and results of this phenomenon. In Iraq, in spite of the detailed examples of the immigration of the Iraqi degree holders, especially since the international sanction that were imposed on Iraq in 1991, the problem has worsened after the American occupation of Iraq in 2003. This needs to be studied from a psychological-social perspective to identify whether it is serious or marginal to the social movement. Based on the above, the researcher aimed at identifying the tendency of the university students with regards to immigration abroad. To achieve the aim of the present study, the following psychometric procedures were conducted: • The study used the "Immigration Tendency" scale prepared by Nadhmi (1999) which consisted, in its final form, of 34 items and which had five options to respond to. • The clarity of the items and options were verified by a pilot study conducted on a sample from the studied community. • Consistency of the present study was achieved by using the division-into-half method. It was 0.88. • The method was applied on a sample from the studying community of 140 under-graduate students, males and females, from the morning studies. After dealing statistically with the data, the following results were achieved:  The sample had a positive tendency to immigration abroad.  There is a statistical significance in the variable of sex in favour of the males.  There is a difference in the variable of specialization in favour of the scientific specialization. Based on the results of the study and its final conclusions, a number of suggestions are stated to conduct further studies that might participate in answering the theoretical and psychometric questions raised by this study. These questions need more research and clarification.

This research aims at the impact of the visual teaching strategy on the achievement in chemistry and developing the scientific thinking of the second – year male students . year secondary male students through proving the following two hypotheses : 1- There is no difference in the statistical sign at the sign level (0.05) between the average of male students' achievement marks in the experimental group and the average of the male students' achievement marks in the control group . 2- There is no difference in the statistical sign at the sign level (0.05) between the average of the pre-test . and post-test . of the scientific thinking of the male in the experimental group and average of the pre-test . and post-test . of the scientific thinking of the male students in the control group. Tala-Al-natheed secondary school in Baquba has been chosen intestinally as the experiment field. The research sample consist of (70) male students from the second – year secondary school who are divided in to two equal groups. Then the equivalence was found. The research requirements are prepared and experiment is applied from 8-10-2015 till 23-12-2015 The researcher has prepared two tests the first one is an achievement post-test which consist (40) items from the type of multiple – choice test , and the second is the scientific thinking test which consist (30) items distributed on 5 areas. After the statistical Analysis was found , the achievement test reliability has been found by using half – split method , and the scientific thinking reliability has been found by using Alfa chronbach , formula . The results have been analyzed which show the male students excellence in the experimental group more than the male students in the control group in each of achievement and scientific thinking. The researcher submitted a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions.

The current study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of supported services that are provided for kids with Down Syndrome in Jordan from the point of view of those working with them. The sample of the study consisted of 150 employees (male and female). In order to collect the data a survey was developed which consisted of seven areas and 81 items that evaluates the level of supported services that are provided for kids with down syndrome in Jordan. Validity and reliability were conducted for the survey. To analyze the data, means and standard deviations were used, in addition to one way anova. Results showed the following: The level of estimate of employers for the supported services provided for kids with down syndrome in Jordan was low. The area of health services gained the highest level of estimates by employers which was moderate. The area of functional therapy gained the lowest level of estimates by employers which was low.

This research was conducted in Diyala province for the secondary schools in order to cover the work of the administration and the administrators in this field. The aim of the research was to investigate the role of collaborated administration on work development as an approach to improve the performance of employees in secondary school administration as well as the application extent that can lead to success. The sample of the study consisted of 20 respondents including principles and some high school teachers who were selected in a nonrandom manner. The used questionnaire consisted and distributed to the study sample and then recollected in order to achieve the goal of this study. The results were analyzed using an appropriate statistical method. The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences in the answers of the respondents, and for the following point: The administrative leadership understand and comprehends the teachers’ collaboration as an approach to improve the performance of employees in the management of schools. This indicates that they feel the importance of participation and the importance of the collaboration at work and thus it should be applied. The result also shows statistical differences in the application of the administration's participation elements of work, such as (planning, organizing, directing and controlling). These elements played an important role in the application of participatory management through the involvement of employees in the administration. In addition, it can improve management participation and improve the performance of employees in the secondary schools. Therefore, this study recommended giving a greater role for the collaborative administration as well as prepare continues courses to management and collaborative administration to the administrative staff in secondary schools to improve their performances

The current research aims to know the extent of moral development among children of kindergartens. This is achieved through a number of hypotheses, 1-There is no statistically significant difference at the level of moral development among the children of kindergartens according to the variable of gender (male ,female) 2- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of moral development among the children of kindergartens according to the father (primary ,secondary , college, higher studies ) . 3- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of moral development among the children of kindergartens according to the mother (primary ,secondary , college, higher studies ) . The sample of the current research is delimited by the children of governmental kindergarten in Baquba district /General directorate of Education / Diyala for the academic year 2015-2016 . To achieve the results , the researcher depends on (Aldahan 2002 scale) to test the moral side among children of kindergarten (4-5) years which is composed of 53 items made in forms of situations . The result shows that children develop morally and their morel development is not affected by the variability of gender .Also , there are on differences according to the academic attainment of the mother or the father . The researcher comes up with a number of recommendations and suggestions .

The goal of current research is to find out the relationship between Internet addiction and motivation toward academic achievement at Diyala University students. The study was conducted on a sample of (200) students were divided on the scientific and humanitarian faculties of the university, and the researcher applying Internet addiction prepared Scale (Bushra Ismail Ornat, 2007) the research sample, the researcher used statistical bag of social Sciences (SPSS) in analyzing the results, which showed a relationship between internet addiction and the low level of motivation toward academic achievement among university students.

The current research aims at identifying : { The Impact of Harvesting Strategy in Developing Smart Thinking among Students at Literary Fourth Grade in History }. The research population represented by the fourth grade literary students who are registered at the General Directory of Education in Diyala Governorate , the researcher intentionally selected Al-Marqaziya Preparatory for Boys and specifically the fourth grade literary students to conduct the experiment and by simple random sampling . Thus, section (A) is selected to be the experimental group to taught the history of Arab Islamic civilization according to the harvesting strategy, in the amount of 30 students while section (B) is represented the control group, who taught in the traditional way, in the amount of 30 students , The researcher chose an experimental design for his study , i.e. quasi experimental, and two groups are specified which are experimental and control groups with pre-test and -post- tests. An equivalence has been done between the two groups in the number of variables including (chronological age, academic level of achievement for fathers, academic level of achievement for mothers, pre- test of smart thinking, students' scores test scores in history of the (2014-2015( , Where the statistics proved an equivalence of the two groups in these variables. In order to measure the smart thinking, the researchers used smart thinking scale for measuring the development of smart thinking for two groups through applying (pre –test and post-test) and extract the difference to identify the development of this thinking , The statistical method (SPSS) is used to identify the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test, thus the results proved that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students who are taught history of Arab-Islamic civilization according to the harvesting strategy and the mean scores of the control group students who are taught the same material in the traditional way in the pre-test and the mean scores in the post-test according to smart thinking scale. In light of the results of the experiment a number of recommendations and proposals are set forward.

The researcher has discussed in the first chapter the educational sports and its role in activating the life of an individual by activities and exercises that are practiced in the lessons of educational sports. Also, he discussed the lesson of educational sports which assists the learner with experiences in order to achieve the educational and learning goals and also discussed in this chapter the game of volleyball. In chapter two, it contained the exercises and retaining with keeping the main skills in volleyball. In chapter three, the researcher used the experimental method which is designed into two groups controlling and experimental of which the two pre-test and post-test and the sample has been chosen randomly containing sixth grade primary students. The fourth chapter, contained the discussion and analysis of results that have been found in conducting pre-test and post-test and the tests of retaining. As for the fifth chapter, it comprised the most important conclusions: skillful exercises that are used had a positive effect in acquiring the skills used under study; this was shown by the results of the tests. As for the most important recommendations, was to take into concern of variety and repetition of exercises in order to gain the muscular and neural agreement, which led to the development in the skills of research.

The aim of identifying (The Impact of Using Roundhouse Diagram Strategy on the Achievements of First Intermediate School Students in Biology). So the researcher hypothesizes the following null hypothesis: • There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.5) between the mean scores of the students who have studied biology by using the Roundhouse Diagram Strategy and the mean scores of the students who have studied biology by using the traditional way. The sample of the study consisted of (67) students from the First intermediate school students were randomly selected from Tarafa ibn Al-Abid, high school which is governed by the Directorate General of Education in Diyala. The sample is randomly divided on two groups, the first group is experimental group which consisted of (33) students who have studied biology by using (Roundhouse Diagram Strategy) , this group is represented by section (A), whereas section (B) is represented by the control group which consisted of (34) students who have studied in the traditional way. The data is collected and analyzed statistically by using the (statistical tools) and the results showed the superiority of the experimental group on the control group.

The research aims at clarifying the focal and significant role of health insurance in achieving social solidarity during the economic crisis in Iraq. Insurance activities acquire significant place in modern social and economic life as they are among the principal factors of economic system and major part of the life of individuals and institution . The significance of this paper stems from the fact that it tackles an important service sector of great reflections on human life i.e., health insurance sector. As regarding psychological side, health insurance restricts fear resulting from job loss due to sickness or disability .In terms of economic side, losing one's job leads him to deprivation and proverty . Moreover, despite the enormous significance of health services in improvement, health insurance sector is still suffering from lots of difficulties, especially in the developing countries as Iraq. Therefore, this paper aims at highlighting the important role played by health insurance in achieving social solidarity via implementing spirit of repose among individual of the same institution and the whole society during the current economic crisis in Iraq. The paper is divided into three main sections; the first comprises the concept and aims of health insurance, the second includes the basic ingredients of health insurance system, while the third section is attributed to clarify the role of health insurance in achieving social solidarity among University of Diyala personnel . The paper ends up with a group of conclusions and recommendations.

This study aims at investigating the effect of think-pair-share strategy on the attainment of the fifth literary grade in the subject of history in the academic year 2015-2016. The sample of the study consisted of two groups: control group and experimental group. Each group consisted of 30 students. The researcher used the attainment exam as a tool to this study. It consisted of 40 items. The results showed a statistically significant variation in favor of the students of the control group who studied according to think-pair-share strategy in the attainment exam. The study concluded the efficiency of this strategy in developing the attainment of the fifth literary grade students in the subject of history. The study recommended the following: 1. Adopting think-pair-share strategy in teaching the subject of history for the fifth literary grade. 2. Opening classes and workshops for the teachers on using active teaching strategy in general and think-pair-share strategy in particular.

Motivation is among the basic conditions upon which achievement is based .the objective behind the learning process in any of its varied fields ,whether in teaching thinking techniques and methods or in forming inclinations or achieving knowledge and information . Therefore ,one can find that the behavior of an individual is characterized by activity and tendency in certain situations rather than others , which can be attributed to his –her level of motivation . This paper aims at building a scale of achievement motivation among high school students –Scientific branch and measuring it .To achieve this aim ,the researcher conducted the following procedures : 1-Measuring achievement motivation among high school students scientific section (Biological and Applied). 2-Measuring achievement motivation among section Applied . 3- Measuring achievement motivation among section Biological. 4-Learn indication of the difference in the real A chievement of the branch of Applied depend on the type of (Females ,Males) . 5--Learn indication of the difference in the real A chievement of the branch of Biological depend on the type of (Females ,Males) . When analyzing the data statistically ,the results showed the following 1-The research sample has defended academic achievement . 2- The research sample in Applid section has defended academic achievement . 3- The research sample in Biological section has defended academic achievement . 4-There is a statistically significant breaches in the realistic academic achievement of the branch of Applied according to variable kind in favor of females. 5-There is a statistically significant breaches in the realistic academic achievement of the branch of Biological according to variable kind in favor of females. The researcher presented anumber of proposals and recommendations.

The current research has aimed to analyze the content of Mathematics Book for the Fourth Secondary Scientific Class in light of (NCTM) Standards. In order to achieve the aim of the research, the researcher has studied some educational standards, and previous studies, by which content analysis tools have been made accordingly in four topics (Numbers and operations on numbers; Algebra, relationships, and functions; Geometry and measurement; and Data analysis, statistics and probabilities), and it has been verified by face validity approach after presenting it to arbitrators, and specialists in study approaches, and by using truth equation; According to their opinions, it has been realized that the agreement percentage is greater than or equal to (80%) as a standard validity and integrity; integrity analysis has also been confirmed by using Holisti equation; as the researcher has taken a sample of research, by which the sample has been analyzed within a timeframe of 14 days difference, in order to reach the researcher to self-contentment, and the result was (0.90); additionally, integrity has been experienced with two individual analysts, and the integrity result was (0.85) between the researcher and the first analyst, while the result between the researcher and the second analyst was (0.88).Analysis of Mathematics Book for the Fourth Secondary Scientific Class has been conducted, in order to identify the magnitude of standards availability, by which data has been processed by using probability average and weight percentage. Conclusions: Few standards were applied most often; while some standards were not applied at all; and curriculum of Iraq lacks the educational standards of mathematics that has been issued by (NCTM) which has international approval, and fine design; This requires the utilization of every resources, and experiences to develop the mathematics curricula, and to greatly enhance the current standards, in order to achieve the finest level in mathematics learning. In light of research conclusions, it is recommended to: 1. Considering the unavailable standards, in order to embed them in mathematics books, as it was not existed or poorly applied. 2. Developing Iraqi curricula to follow the modern trends in curricula creation, and to reduce the shortcoming.
