حول المجلة

تأسست مجلة الفتح في سنة 1997 وكانت تصدرها كلية المعلمين – الجامعة المستنصرية , وبعد تأسيس جامعة ديالى سنة 1999 أصبحت مجلة الفتح تصدر من كلية المعلمين / جامعة ديالى وكانت تعنى بنشر البحوث العلمية والإنسانية والتربوية حيث كانت تصدر بشكل فصلي أي أربعة أعداد في السنة

وقد أصبحت مجلة الفتح منذ تأسيسها مصدر كبير للمعلومات الدقيقة التي كان يستفيد منها الباحثين وطلبة الدراسات العليا إلى يومنا هذا وذلك بسبب حكمة القائمين على إصدارها ورصانتهم العلمية ,وقد تناوب على رئاسة تحرير مجلة الفتح كوكبة من الأساتذة العظام وعمل فيها مجموعة من الموظفين المبدعين , وقد توقفت مجلة الفتح عن إصدار أعدادها بين عامي 2006-2007 وذلك بسبب الظروف الأمنية التي مرت بها المحافظة اظافة إلى استشهاد سكرتير تحرير المجلة في ذلك الوقت (الدكتور حسن احمد مهاوش) رحمه الله.
وبعد استتباب الأمن في محافظة ديالى وعودة الحياة الطبيعية إلى ربوع المحافظة عادت مجلة الفتح بإصدار أعدادها وبحلتها الجديدة وخاصة بعد أن حصلت المجلة على الترقيم الدولي (issn ) وعادت مجلة الفتح لرفد المسيرة العلمية بالبحوث التربوية و النفسية القيمة ففي سنة 2008 وحسب توجيهات الوزارة أصبحت مجلة الفتح مختصة بنشر البحوث التربوية والنفسية فقط.

This study aimed to reveal the availability degree of teaching competences of Math teachers and its relationship with the attitude towards the profession in Libya. The researchers used the Description Correlational Method due to its appropriateness to the nature of this study, where the community of the study included all Math teachers of 7thand 8th grades from the preparatory stage who were deployed in the schools of two regions of Abu Sleem and Al Andalus quarter in Tripoli city in Libya. A random sample was chosen from the original study community: 66 male and female teachers. The researchers used a questionnaire for measuring the attitude towards the profession. They also designed a note card to measure teaching and learning competences which included 38 competences distributed in four fields which are (preparation and lesson planning competences, lesson implementing competences, choosing aids and activities competences and evaluation competences.) Which applied on individual of the study sample?. Appropriate statistical means were used. The study came up with the following results: 1. The availability degree of Mathematics Teachers Learning Competencies is (2.46) which lie in the medium range. 2. There is no correlational relationship at significance level of (α=0.05) between teaching competences of Math teachers and their attitudes towards their profession. In the light of the results .The study concludes with a number of recommendations and suggestions, for example: 1. Reconsidering the programs of preparing Math teachers in teacher’s preparation colleges and institutes and developing these programs in the light of the competences based education. 2. Activation of in-service training system for Math teachers and improving their teaching competence.

The following study tried to investigate the effect of Scaffolding activities on students 'comprehension skills within Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) which leads to a process of brainstorming to reach the ultimate comprehension and understanding of the text. Therefore, the researcher tried to answer the following question: "Is there a significant difference at (α=.05) between the mean scores attained by the experimental group and those attained by the control group on students' comprehension that can be attributed to the effect of language scaffolds on students comprehension within Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD)? To answer the research questions which were based on this hypothesis, the researcher selected two groups randomly to form the sample of the study. The experimental and the control groups with (15) male female 2nd stage college students in each. The two groups set for pre-test to ensure that the two groups were equal in their comprehension skills before starting the experiment after six weeks of teaching within ZPD both groups set for another post-test to investigate the change . The findings revealed that there were significant differences between the mean scores attained by the experimental group and those attained by the control group in favor of the experimental group due to applying the new scaffolding activities within Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development. .Therefore; the researcher rejected the null hypothesis and accepted the alternative one which indicated that there is a significant differences between the experimental and the control groups. After analyzing the collected data and discussing the results, the researcher introduced a group of suggestions and recommendations. Key words : 1- Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) 2- Scaffolding: is the teaching technique that involves providing students with the supports needed to complete a task or facilitate their learning of new concepts.

The study assesses the role of conscious grammatical knowledge, and the positions taken on it, with respect to the effectiveness of formal instruction and learning a second language. The following issues will be discussed with particular reference to the role of conscious grammatical knowledge: Krashen's acquisition versus learning hypothesis, the Monitor model, the critical reactions to them and the effectiveness of formal instruction. The study aims to analyze the learners’ beliefs and practices concerning conscious grammatical knowledge. In order to identify the conscious grammatical knowledge by the students in studying English language culture a questionnaire was applied on the second year students, Department of English, College of Education. Also Post and Pre- Tests were conducted to gather the required data. The results indicate that the appropriate teaching method has the greatest role to activate the conscious grammatical knowledge and this teaching method can be applied with taking into consideration the learning environment and certainly the learners’ proficiency level. In the light of the results certain conclusions have been achieved about this topic.

The study aims at finding out The Effect of Active Learning According to Image Modelling on the Learning of the Skill of Chest Pass in Basketball among First Intermediate School Students. The researcher has adopted the experimental approach of two groups; experimental and control. Moreover, the study society comprised of (161) first intermediate school students in Al-Baghdadi School. The sample of the study included (30) students who were distributed into (12) students in the experimental group and (18) students in the control group. Furthermore, the researcher delineated the following statistical tools; arithmetic mean, standard deviation, median, coefficient of torsion, percentage, the T-test of two independent, unequal samples, simple correlation coefficient (Pearson) and the statistical T-test. In the light of study material, the following conclusion was figured out: Active learning according to image modelling is of great effect on learning the artistic performance of chest pass. Whereas the most focal recommendations were: 1. Using active learning in teaching the skill of chest pass in basketball for it is an effective and significant style in varied ratios. 2. Relying on additional sensory-image modelling via the delineation of modern technologies in photographic and video images of the artistic performance of the skill as well as creating tools which are going to assist learners in comprehending kinetic performance and mastering it in the easiest and quickest ways.

This study aims at knowing the effect of the successive manner in learning the skills of ground forehand and backhand strokes in tennis . Also it aims to know the preferablity of the control and experimental groups in learning the skills of the ground forehand and backhand strokes in tennis. The researchers used the experimental approach of the control and experimental groups which are equivalent to be proper to the nature of the problem of the research. The population of the research included the second year students in the college of Basic Education- Department of Physical Education and Sport Science. The test which were used to measure the level of learning the ground forehand and backhand strokes was Hewitt Average (Jack E Hewitt). The researchers carried out (12) teaching units over (12) weeks – one teaching unit per a week- and the time was (90) minutes per a unit for the two control and experimental groups. The successive teaching manner for teaching students the basic skills was used for the experimental group , while the traditional manner which is followed in the college was adopted for the control group and with the same syllabus of the experimental group. At the beginning of carrying out the teaching units , the individuals of samples was divided into small teaching . The time of each teaching unit was (90) minutes distributed into three parts ( the preparation part was 20 minutes), (the main parts was 65 minutes) and the final part was 5 minutes ). The researchers were able to arrive at the use of the successive manner has a positive effect on teaching the skills studied in this research which was very suitable for the experimental group. The use of the successive manner helps in exceeding the learning process and develop the independency and achieving the goals by investing time and effort .

The current research aims to find out (( the effectiveness of the strategy The Keys of Knowledge in the development of critical thinking among students in the middle school reading material )) the researcher, used the experimental method in order to achieve the aim of the research conducted the experiment , which lasted for a full semester of the academic year 2014-2015, researcher chosen preparatory Diyala for boys in the district Baquba intentionally To apply the experience and identified the sample (50) students by 25 students experimental group, and 25 students for the control group, the researcher has conducted a parity statistically between the two sets of research in the following variables (Degrees Students' in Arabic language for the half year for the academic year 2014-2015 , chronological age, level of achievement for parents, IQ, language ability, critical thinking) Researcher adopted experimentally determined is located in the part-tuning the experimental field designs, and experience has started in 18.02.2015 and lasted until the day 05.09.2015 and after completion of the test results were analyzed statistically using Altaia test for two independent samples T.test, and the results showed superiority the experimental group students studying reading material strategy The Keys of Knowledge to the control group students who Are studying the same material in the usual way in the development of critical thinking .

A Predictive Model of Procrastination according to Self-Efficacy and Future Anxiety

The procrastination is an irrational behavior that may prevail in particular communities characterized by wasting time and waiting for miracles. Millions of people there are involved in delaying tasks and avoiding confrontation with the challenges and emerging tasks imposed by social and technological development of mankind. The current research suggests that the procrastination could be conceptualized as a result of "negative expectations towards self" (low self-efficacy), and of "negative expectations towards environmental events" (high future anxiety). To investigate this assumption, a predictive model was developed and tested, supposing that the procrastination could be predictable by these two psychological variably, individually and jointly. A sample of 137 students from the University of Baghdad was selected. A multidimensional scale of 72 items and nine subscales was developed to measure procrastination. The predictive model has been developed by using the required statistical analyses. The most important conclusions are the following: • The procrastination as a personality type seems more prevalent among college students than as a personality trait. • The procrastinators types most influenced by the motivational factor of emotional and moral satisfactions, ranked in the forefront of prevalence rates, followed by the procrastinators types influenced by the cognitive factor related to the perceptual distortions. • The extreme cases of self-efficacy predict adversely the procrastination. The future anxiety is not a mediator in this case. • The gender and academic discipline have no significant impact to predict the procrastination. Therefore, they could be excluded from the model. • The Worrier, Defier, and Crisis-Maker procrastinators could be positively predicted by future anxiety. Meanwhile, they could adversely predicted by self-efficacy when it interacts with future anxiety. • The procrastination trait and the Metaphysical and Incapable of Delaying Gratification Procrastinators, could be adversely predicted by self-efficacy. Meanwhile, they could positively predicted by future anxiety when it interacts with self efficacy. Then several suggestions for future complementary studies were introduced.

Mental habits are considered as important variables related to the academic performance of learners in different learning stages. Therefore, with the beginning of the twenty-first century, many studies confirmed the importance of learning the mental habits, reviewing and evaluating the necessary reinforcement to encourage them to stick to them till they become part of using these mental habits in performing basic skills in soccer and thinking about performing it properly. The aim of this study is preparing exercises in terms of habits of mind to learn some basic skills in soccer, also knowing the effect of those exercises in learning some basic skills in soccer. The study concluded that using the habits of mind is of great importance in the development of thinking skills of the sample members. As a result of using habits of mind led to using strategies and skills in teaching methods based on free and critical thinking and making use of old information in building new ideas resulting in learning basic skills in a better way.

The present study discussed the development of psychological endurance among the students of the second stage in the College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sport Science to develop the skill of spiking in volleyball though designing training methods and exercises that work on those aspects. This development can only be achieved by consistent practical studies that depend on various connected disciplines like psychology which has many contributions and effective roles in developing sports. The significance of the study lies in developing a training program psychological endurance among the students in volleyball due to the importance of psychological and educational aspects in sports. Through the observation of the researcher, it was found that there is a weakness in the development and the performance of the skill of spiking. So, the study aims at designing a training method to develop psychological endurance among the students in volleyball and assessing its effectiveness. Because the weakness in this aspect will affect the students personality and create unbalanced performance and skills.

The study aimed at identifying the perceptions of elementary school teachers in Jordan towards the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and weather teachers specialization and years of experience has an effect on their perceptions. The sample of the study consisted of 377 teachers working in schools in Amman District and were chosen by simple random method. Questionnaire was designed based on teachers perceptions towards ADHD. Validity and reliability was ensured. The results indicated that teachers perception was medium. Also results indicated no significant differences based on specialization and years of teaching experience. The study suggests the importance of training teachers on enhancing their knowledge to identify students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.

The principle of human dignity in Islamic conception The emergence of Islamic Law (Sharia) has based on the principle of human dignity which Islamic law has guaranteed to human the being from the beginning of his creation. Islamic law has continued to support this principle by an educational approach strengthening its roots in the human soul; and by inserting this principle in its doctrine, ethics, and deeds with a balanced and integrated vision, that is compatible with its human descent nature and its gracious origin that is distinct from all the other creatures. That in order to protect human psyche from the material and moral humiliation, enhancing the pride within human soul by its slavery to God Almighty and establishing his divine approach. This principle empowers its authentic dimensions within the human soul and purifies it from its false aspects. That makes human dignity represents the bright image of human rights, legitimate duties, and an obvious vision of building a society that ensures value and importance for each individual. The Islamic conception of the principle of human dignity has been an integrated conception of its primary and secondary components, including its physical and moral dimensions, fair in determining what is private and general among people, and balanced in establishing the aspects of psyche in a way that results in the development of human personality which has been the successor upon the land of God according to His legislative approach. Depending on the importance of the principle of human dignity in achieving the human education, the research aims to consolidating this principle in the light of the Islamic perception by revealing its physical and moral dimensions, and its types according to the human-self to which it is related among the private and public.

Learning the skills of athletic games needs activity and efficiency in learning that skill. The classic methods are not useful in making necessary change in learning those skills. Since, the development is being noticed and huge in different games because of using modern methods and techniques. The researcher wanted to study the effect of skillful exercises in a way of solving problems in learning rolling and aiming skills of indoors football for first year intermediate students . The descriptive method has been used of two groups experimental and controlled on students from Al-Yazige Intermediate School at Khalis District and were divided randomly about (60 students). The results showed that experimental group has developed in remote tests more than the controlled group because of using skillful exercises in way of solving problems.

The study aimed at identifying the level of geometric thinking of system courses of male and female second secondary grade students in Taif. The study used the Van Hiele test for geometric thinking codified to the Saudi environment which was applied to a random sample of (306) students and. The results of the study showed a low level of geometric thinking of the study sample, as 4.43 % of the study sample did not exceed the visual level while 55.23% of the study sample was classified on the first level, the visual level, 24.84% of the study sample was on the analytic level, 10.78% of the study sample was on the semi-inductive level while 4.91% of the study sample was on the inductive level and no male or female students of the study sample were classified on the abstract level. The results of the study also showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the level of geometric thinking between male and female students of the system courses.

This research aims to evaluate Arabic language teachers' performance in the elementary school according to the suggested standards of the quality of educational performance, and to recognize their performance. The research is limited on: 1. Arabic language teachers at the elementary school who teach the last three grades . 2. The academic year 2015-2016. 3. Reading Book. The researchers follow the descriptive approach in their research, they choose (46) teachers as sample for this research . The researchers has visited the teachers at their schools and evaluated them according to the observation list which is prepared for this purpose. This list contains (30) items and each one has three choices (Always, sometimes, never). The credibility of the answers is verified and applied on the research sample. To minimize the self-assessment in the evaluation process and to make it objective , the data are processed statistically by using the appropriate statistical methods . The researchers recommend many recommendations ,like (consider the performance quality standards that are used in this research ). To finish their research , the researchers put suggestions for future studies, like ( conduct a similar study of the current research for the first three grades in elementary school).

Language is the most important means of communication without which there is no life. Every nation is proud of its language and considers it as one of the basic elements in its existence. Arabic is the language of the Holy Quran That unifies Muslims and helps to preserve this language. The grammar of Arabic needs to be easy to learn . There are some difficulties in the rules of Arabic grammar and in understanding and learning these rules . There were many old attempts to simplify Arabic grammar during more than ten centuries. These attempts vary recently because of the spread of the new technologies which are employed in the various teaching aids especially in Arabic grammar lessons in the primary schools because of the importance of this stage in setting the basis of success. The research aimed at investigating the impact of information mapping on the achievement of the fifth class pupils in Arabic grammar . To achieve the aim of the study , the researcher put the following hypotheses ; 1. There is no statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level in the achievement of the male-pupils who study masculine regular plural in Arabic grammar according to the information mapping method and the male-pupils of the control group who study the same subject according to the regular teaching method. 2. There is no statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level in the achievement of the female-pupils who study masculine regular plural according to the information mapping method and the female-pupils of the control group who study the same subject according to the regular teaching method. 3. There is no statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level in the achievement of the male and female pupils of the two experimental groups who study masculine regular plural according to the information mapping method. The researcher has used the experimental design for two independent samples and by using the second test the researcher has arrived at the following conclusions: 1. Presenting the subject of Arabic grammar accompanied with information mapping is one of the most interesting styles in teaching and learning. 2. The pupils interact with this method because it arises the excitement and attention factors. It also simplifies understanding Arabic grammar. The researcher has recommended the following: 1. using information mapping , colours, figures, drawings, and pictures preferred by pupils in teaching because they have a remarkable impact on understanding Arabic grammar. 2. using information mapping in the educational courses held by the preparing and training departments in the general directorates of education. The researcher has suggested: 1. conducting a similar study applied to other study classes. 2. conducting a similar study applied to other subjects.

According to the research problem that the absence of good governance leads to lower rates of development and the low level of well-being, the research aims to develop the determinants of good governance in order to access development and sustainability. In the third section, the researchers present the research methodology , procedures and identifying the tests which are applied to the sample. While the fourth section include the analysis and discussion of the results of the applicable tests on the sample, also the researchers concluded in the fifth section the level of intelligence and its impact in basketball shooting. The researchers recommend that consideration should be given to the levels of intelligence for basketball players, especially in the selection of basketball beginner players.

This paper aims at Analyzing Questions of Public Examinations in Arabic Grammar of Third Intermediate Classes in the Light of Bloom's Taxonomy. The scope of the paper is limited to analyz questions of Arabic Grammar of third intermediate classes for the period of five years from (2012 to 2016). In addition, the researcher adopted the content analysis approach which is considered one of the cadastral studies in the descriptive method of research. The researcher selected a total number of (109) third intermediate questions to be analyzed in the study. Furthermore, the researcher set a form which comprised criteria of questions analysis selected from Bloom's cognitive taxonomy and from studies and literatures in relation to the topic of the paper. Then, this form was exposed to a group of experts and referees. Moreover, after grouping and statistically processing data via percentage as mathematical tool in addition to Scot Equation, the researcher found out that the comprehension level came first with (51) frequencies and a ratio of (46.79%) of the total analyzed questions, whereas remembering was in the second place with (34) frequencies and a ratio of (31.19%) of questions analyzed, while the application level came third with (24) frequencies and a ratio of (22.02%) of the total analyzed questions. In the light of the study results, the researcher figured out the following: 1. Public examination questions in Arabic Grammar of third intermediate classes were set to measure the levels of (remembering, comprehension, application), and neglected levels of analysis, synthesis and evaluation according to Bloom's taxonomy of the cognitive filed. The analysis of public examination questions in Arabic Grammar of third intermediate classes mirrored results which are concordant with objectives of teaching Arabic grammar in terms of the levels of remembering, comprehension and application regarding the cognitive field and Bloom's taxonomy.
