حول المجلة

تأسست مجلة الفتح في سنة 1997 وكانت تصدرها كلية المعلمين – الجامعة المستنصرية , وبعد تأسيس جامعة ديالى سنة 1999 أصبحت مجلة الفتح تصدر من كلية المعلمين / جامعة ديالى وكانت تعنى بنشر البحوث العلمية والإنسانية والتربوية حيث كانت تصدر بشكل فصلي أي أربعة أعداد في السنة

وقد أصبحت مجلة الفتح منذ تأسيسها مصدر كبير للمعلومات الدقيقة التي كان يستفيد منها الباحثين وطلبة الدراسات العليا إلى يومنا هذا وذلك بسبب حكمة القائمين على إصدارها ورصانتهم العلمية ,وقد تناوب على رئاسة تحرير مجلة الفتح كوكبة من الأساتذة العظام وعمل فيها مجموعة من الموظفين المبدعين , وقد توقفت مجلة الفتح عن إصدار أعدادها بين عامي 2006-2007 وذلك بسبب الظروف الأمنية التي مرت بها المحافظة اظافة إلى استشهاد سكرتير تحرير المجلة في ذلك الوقت (الدكتور حسن احمد مهاوش) رحمه الله.
وبعد استتباب الأمن في محافظة ديالى وعودة الحياة الطبيعية إلى ربوع المحافظة عادت مجلة الفتح بإصدار أعدادها وبحلتها الجديدة وخاصة بعد أن حصلت المجلة على الترقيم الدولي (issn ) وعادت مجلة الفتح لرفد المسيرة العلمية بالبحوث التربوية و النفسية القيمة ففي سنة 2008 وحسب توجيهات الوزارة أصبحت مجلة الفتح مختصة بنشر البحوث التربوية والنفسية فقط.

The researcher has reached to a number of results as follows: - 1- The information of the educational theory is not able alone to build scientific minds of pupils . The teacher sometimes allows the pupil to express his opinion, debates classroom, dialogue and discuss in the classroom . Nevertheless pupil does not dare to criticize , object to the issues , express an opinion contrary to the opinion of the teacher and ask classmate about their opinions . The teachers see the good student as an obedient student who accepts orders without objection. Such a student is often seen by teachers as imitator of adult in his behaviour, and he has a tendency to adulation and fawning. 2 - The pupil is often interested in the general culture by reading stories and children's magazines. 3- The pupil often asks teachers for leniency in scoring exam papers , the nature of the question in the exam , time and type of questions , the deleted items of the syllbus and some intellectual problems. Most of the questions in the exam are objective questions, especially in the blanks, true and false and most of questions in the exam are memorizing and remembering questions. 4 - Repeated informational education is prevalent in most of the primary schools 5. Teachers often use punishment methods with pupils. 6- The imbalance in education goes back to the pupil himself. 7- Pupil often is hesitant of experiencing new things, meeting new people, difficulty in making decisions and dependence on others 8- Teachers often enhance thier education with examples from reality. 9- Summaries are available, especially in the fifth and sixth grade and nepotism is sometimes common among pupils' parents . 10. The tutoring begins in primary education. 11-students suffer from difficulty in certain scientific and intellectual materials as mathematics and science. In light of these results, it is clearly shown that the manifestations of indoctrinating education is prevalent in most educational institutions. This is answered by a research respondents and what we saw during our frequently visits to the study society, and what we saw in the exam questions and summaries of study. This proves what we stated at the beginning of our study and what we previously assumed

The study aims to recognize the relationship between the leadership modes far the lecturers of the physical education and sport sciences and their teaching competencies . The study sample involves 65 lecturers . The descriptive approach has been used for the variable connectivity relations to achieve the study goals , as two measuring tools were used to measure the variable of the research sample. The research finding out that there are three leadership modes which are often practiced by physical education and sport sciences lecturers in Diyala university . The level of Democratic style , The level of the Autocratic style and the level of the Free style . In addition to that , There is a good level of teaching competencies of the lecturers in Diyala university . Statistically . there is a significant and positive correlation between the Democratic and the teaching competencies level for the lecturers of the physical education and sport sciences . On the other hand , there is a negative correlation between the level of Free style the Autocratic and the lecturers competencies

The Pedagogical Values Implied in the Books of Reading Literary Texts in the Intermediate Stage

This research aims to know the pedagogical values implied in the books of Reading Literary Texts in the intermediate stage*. The limit of the population of study was the content of the books of reading literary texts of the intermediate first and second years classes. The sample included the topics of these books which are (35) topics of first intermediate class and (29) topics of second intermediate class. The descriptive approach based on the analytical method was used for this purpose. To achieve the aim of this research , an analytical instrument was designed which consisted of (64) pedagogical values distributed into (7) fields. The books of reading literary texts of first and second intermediate classes were analyzed . To verify the stability of the analysis , the random sample was re-analyzed which was (10%) percentage of the reading literary texts books and with a temporal difference which was (3 weeks). The stability coefficient in the researchers' agreement with themselves (87%) for the first book and (90%) for the second book. The statement was used for the unity of analysis and the frequency for the unity of numeration. The percentages were used to count the frequencies. The study showed that there is (1086) statements in the content of the reading literary texts book of intermediate first class distributed into (64) pedagogical values. The value ( endearment of culture , heritage, and Arabic and Islamic history) got the first rank with (77) frequencies and (7.09 %) percent and ended with the value of (integrity) which came last with (2) frequencies and (0.18%) percent. Whereas the results concerned the book of the second intermediate class showed that (1097) statements distributed into (62) pedagogical values. It started with the value of (good moral) which got the first rank with (80) frequencies and (7.29%) and ended with the value of (cleanness) which came last and its frequency of occurrence was only (1) and (0.09%) percent. According to these results , a number of recommendations and suggestions were presented to conduct other researches to complete the recent research.

Writing in English language considers one of the most important sources to express thoughts. Furthermore, it needs from the second language speaker to be excellent either in vocabularies or how to make sentences grammatically and meaningfully correct. From long experience in teaching field, it is approved that Arab students of high studies from University Utara Malaysia faces problems in how to transfer student's ideas in written words. And from this research, it is checked out by using a questionnaire that depends on first; Are all the three main writing processes which are before writing an essay (planning), when writing in English (composing), after writing (revising) applied in writing. Second; Are the three main writing processes have a relationship with writing apprehension. As the results approved that the three writing processes are not followed by the ELPT Arab students during the examination and this case makes the students more apprehensive. In addition to that there are no statistical differences between the writing processes and writing apprehension. The findings of this study have further implication in order to seek for ways to improve the writing of the students by following the writing processes and are trying to reduce the size of writing apprehension during the test.

The objective of sport education lesson in motor area is to learn the basic skills of the determined games. The best and modern methods must be used in order to achieve the needs and tendencies of the learners to reach to the best results. The aim of this study is to get to know the effect of using directive discovery to learn some basic skills in handball for students of intermediate stage for the period from the 18th of October, 2016 to the 5th of January, 2017. As for the problem of the study, the researcher notices that the most widely used teaching method is based on the direct method. In addition, there is a weakness in the skilled performance of handball. Therefore, studying this age group is the starting point in handball. This study is an important issue in identifying the effect of teaching methods in learning and mastering sport games. The experimental method of two groups: experimental and control group is used. Statistical data are treated by the readymade software system SPSS. Arithmetic means and standard deviations are found out. The results show that there are significant differences in skill tests of the experimental group. The researcher recommends the necessity of using the directive discovery method in teaching sport games as well as conducting similar studies for other age groups.

The researcher dealt with the importance of educational technology and using computer in process education and huge development which happened. Many technologies appeared among modern technologies like computer. It opened the path for the teacher to educational means that help to increase the level of learning in Universities. The problem of the current study represents the necessity of using modern educational means which arouses the motive of students and their interests and prepares the opportunities of cooperation and play a positive active role. The research aims to identify the effect of computer technology and choosing the method of teaching for physiology material. The hypothesis of the research shows that there is a statistical difference which is significantly intangible between pre-test and post-test for the experimental group and for the favour of the post-test. The researcher dealt with the theoretical study of research and used the experimental method for being suitable for the subject and aims of research. A sample has been chosen (39 students). The researcher used system design for individual group having pre-test and post-test as being suitable for the aims of research. After implementing and discussions the researcher reached to the following conclusions and recommendations: - Conducting more studies by using modern educational technologies. - Encouraging to conduct modern educational programs in the area of modern technology to develop the educational process. The researcher recommended the following: - The teachers interest in using modern technology in process of education and supporting them. - Trying to save and store the lectures of studying materials in Universities so that students will be able to study them by using computers.

The study deals with teaching competencies as it is one of the main aspects to evaluate the performance of sport education teachers. Indicators show the possibility of indirect evaluation of teachers' preparation program. Scientific supervisors and top teachers are considered as the field experts who contribute in raising teaching competencies of teachers and in developing them. As for the procedures, the researcher uses the descriptive method with survey manner for its suitability in solving the problem of the study as it adopts the description of the situation depending on the responses of the sample of the study. The sample is composed of (150) sport teachers of primary schools of Diyala governorate for the academic years 2016/2017. They are (81) male and (69) female teachers. The academic qualifications of the sample are classified into three types (Bachelor degree, teachers training institute, college of sport education). The researcher concludes that sport teachers have teaching competencies.

The study aims to know the degree of awareness of the Arabic language teachers at intermediate school Thi-Qar Governorate, in the values of citizenship, and its relationship with some variations. The sample of the study contains (132) of female and male teachers from Thi-Qar educational directorate. To apply the study, the two examiners prepare the study tool representing a survey of the citizenship value, which ultimately form (30) items. The study result is revealed that the awareness' degree of Arabic language teachers at intermediate school come in mediate level. Beside there is no variations among teachers because of the gender. The differences existence among teachers attribute to the variations of the teaching experiences. Hence, there are differences in the variations of scientific qualification in favoure of higher study. According to the results, the study makes several recommendations and suggestions.

The study aims to identify the acquisition of the professional competencies by the teachers of mentally retarded students from the view point of the directors and supervisors of special education. The sample included (96) special education directors and supervisors. To achieve its aim, the study used a questionnaire that measures the extent to which the teachers of “mentally retarded students” have acquired the required professional competencies through the responses of the concerned directors and supervisors to (42) statements. The results of the study are as follows: - According to directors and the supervisors of special education, the acquisition of the professional competencies by the teachers of the mentally disabled students is quite low. - The averages of special education directors and supervisors regarding the acquisition of professional competencies by special education teachers have shown statistically significant difference of ( α ≤ 0، 0)in favour of the directors. - The overall grade of the experience measure has shown a statistically significant difference of ( α ≤ 05، 0) in favour of the higher degree of experience In the light of the results, the study has reached a number of recommendations:

Due to the importance of the counseling role of faculties of education in Saudi universities in establishing balanced human development that contributes in society's economic, cultural, social and political progress, faculties of education are required to adopt clear plans and programs based on a developed dynamic vision comprising human development requirements and contributing in community service. This study aims at suggesting a format of the role of faculties of education in Saudi universities to achieve Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision through strategic aims of Ministry of Education according to National Transformation Program 2030. The study used descriptive method. Participants were (145) males and (355) females staff members and educational leaders referred from (22) faculties of education in Saudi universities. Participants responded to an open questionnaire prepared by the researcher to question about staff members' and educational leaders' viewpoints towards the suggested role of faculties of education. Results of the study showed eleven different roles of faculties of education. The most important roles are: qualifying, training and developing administrative and educational leadership, developing student's skill and personality, developing instructional curricula, methodology and evaluation. Activating the role of the private sector in public and higher education. Reinforcing community participations and help for providing innovative sources of financing and other vital roles consistent with Saudi kingdom's vision and aspirations. This study aims at identifying The effect of using mastery cooperative learning Strategy on developing Meta-memory skills and academic Intrinsic Motivation and the relationship between them among female Arabic language students at the Faculty of Education. To achieve the objectives of the study (42) female students of Arabic language at the 7th level were taught the course of Arabic Language Teaching Methodology. The researchers used mastery cooperative learning Pre and Post Tests for one group, By using the following tools: some training sessions on mastery cooperative learning strategies prepared by the researchers, meta-memory test, prepared by (Troyer & Rich,2002) Translated by Abu Ghazal (2007) for the Arab environment, and academic Intrinsic Motivation scale, prepared by (Lepper, 2005) Translated by (Al-Alwan and Attiat, 2010) for the Arab environment. Results of the study showed that there were significant positive effects of mastery – cooperative learning strategy in enhancing the meta-memory skills and in enhancing academic Intrinsic Motivation, and found also high correlation between the meta-memory skills and academic Intrinsic Motivation. A number of recommendations were suggested in the light of the obtained results.

The research aims at using a proposed training methodology and the effectiveness of this method in developing the anaerobic ability of the phosphogenetic and the schematic behavior against the left-handed boxer ages (20-21) years. The researcher used the experimental method of one group, as for the research sample it included (6) players from College of Basic Education Team and were selected in a deliberate manner. The problem included the reduced level of anaerobic ability of the players starting at the end of the first round and the middle of the second round till its end and the beginning of the third round to the end, causing technical errors at the level of skillful performance which effects negatively on the schematic performance and the ability of making suitable decisions for the boxers. Appropriate tests for research and sample were used, and after the use of appropriate statistical methods, the researcher reached the conclusions of the most important: 1. The use of the proposed training curriculum has had a positive impact on the development of the level of phosphogenetic anaerobic ability and the schematic behavior against the left-handed boxer. 2. The development of phosphogenetic anaerobic ability indicates that there is a positive effect of this ability in boxing. 3. The use of similar boxing training of competitive cases in implementing schematic behavior exercises had a big impact on developing the behavior against left-handed boxer. The most important recommendations are: 1. Using the proposed training curriculum as part of the training and developing of the physical, skillful and planning aspects. 2. Using boxing training exercises to train all age groups because of its influence on the development of the physical, skillful and special planning aspects of boxers. 3. Emphasizing the correct skillful performance of the special exercises of trained boxing.

This research concluded five chapters. The first chapter contained a definition of this research and introduction, and its importance. The researcher discussed the methods of modern learning one is which cooperative integrity style of divided information and its role in learning movement skills like the skill of serve in volleyball. The problem contained that there is not enough followed teaching methods and ways (traditional) and its weak affect in level of learning and performance. It does not fulfill the needs of advanced progress in this area and does not depend on the principle of individual differences between learners. The aim of this research is to identify the effect of using cooperative integrity style for divided information in learning the skill of serving in volleyball. The second chapter contained on theoretical framework of study and the researcher dealt with methods of teaching one of which is cooperative integrity style for divided information and how to implement it in learning the skills of movement. The third chapter contained methodology of research and its field procedures, the researcher used experimental method for being suitable with the nature of the problem. The design of two equivalent groups of pre-test and post-test. The researcher also used statistical means to analyze the results. The fourth chapter contained the results and their analyses to the level of skillful performance of serving the ball and discussing these results with mentioning the suitable academic references. The researcher concluded that the cooperative integrity style for dividing information had the biggest effect on the level of skillful performance of serving the ball in volleyball. The researcher recommended to use such kind of style in learning skillful movements in volleyball game and other games.

This study aims at investigating "the Impact of Using RAFT Stragtegy in Composition Performance among The Intermediate Second Class Schoolgirls".To achieve the null hypothesis which means "there are no statistical difference between the average rate of the two groups "experimental and control "in the compostion perforance of the eight listed tests". The sample of the study consisted of (61) intermediate second morning class schoolgirls, the first semester 2016-2017 ,then, the sample was divided randomly into (31) B class students in the experimental group who use RAFT strategy in their composition performance, whereas the control group contained (30) A class students . Also, the reseracher equals between the two groups concerning their score in the previous academic year (2015-2016)in Arabic , the parents achievement ,the age calculated monthly, and the experiment applied on Thursday 6/10/2016 to Thursady15/12/2016. To achieve aim of the study , the researcher perpared eight lesson plans for each group and used Hashimi Correction criterion (1994)to correct each topic of the eight ones , then , the researcher confirmed the validity of this criterion by exposed it to the jury memebers specialized in Teaching Methods in Arabic. At the end of the experiment , the researcher reached at the following conclusions :"the use of RAFT strategy increases the arrangement and preparation of the schoolgirls' writing "whereas the recommendations the researcher promoted" To use RAFT strategy by the Arabic language teachers in the intermediate second class students especially the intermediate stage". Also, there are three suggestions as"Using RAFT strategy in developing the students' composition performance in the intermediate and secondary schools ".

This research aims at studying the relationship and effect of some consumers' special personal characteristics ( such as face color, eyes color, hair color) which are independent variables and the purchasing decision making of formal male clothes which is a dependent variable The primary data of the study was collected through a questionnaire which was distributed on random class sample ( 180 men) buying this type of clothes in Baghdad . The study was conducted by using two methods- personal interview and surveying- of a number of the buyers and sellers of the clothes in Baghdad The study showed that there is apositive coefficient correlation in various degrees between the variables and there is significant effect of the two independent variables (face color and eyes color), while there is non-significant effect of the hair color variable in the dependent variable through using the variance analysis-Test F .The research set up some recommendations for serving the organizations which produce , market and distribute formal male clothes.

The aim of this study is to identify (the effect of using Buxton model in acquiring mathematical concepts among intermediate first grade students and attitudes toward mathematics). The researchers chose first grade students randomly from Badir Shaker Al-Sayab School. Twenty students from section A were chosen as the experimental group and twenty two students from section B as the control group. Buxton paradigm was applied to the experimental group in teaching the integers chapter. Teaching plans were set for both groups. A test, to acquire mathematical concepts and measure the trend attitudes mathematics, was constructed. Those plans and tests were presented to a group of experts and specialists in methods of teaching mathematics to prove reliability; reliability of the tests and the measurement plus finding the coefficient difficulty and distinguishing factor of the test. After applying the test and the measure to the groups, the results showed statistical differences between the two groups in acquiring mathematical concepts for the experimental group. Besides, the lack of statistically differences between students in the experimental group and the lack of statistically significant differences between the groups in the scale of the trend toward mathematics. There are statistical differences for the male students in the experimental group. The researchers concluded that Buxton paradigm is important in acquiring mathematical concepts among intermediate students. The researchers recommended using Buxton model in secondary schools.

Punctuation is developing a special sign during the writing of the division of Parts Wholesale and set Endowment positions, or audio to diversify when reading, which is supposed to be learned by the teacher in a lesson dictation to become usually inherent to the individual for life and in every daily dealings, and is the punctuation of the most correct writing controls understand their meaning, and what is written and expression of emotions and feelings in terms of speech and arrived to stop and question and deletion and alarm for the vagus and other tools numbering task The current research aimed to: 1-identify the level of use of punctuation marks by the students of College of Basic Education / University of Diyala in sections not jurisdiction. 2-disclosure of reasons for the poor students of College of Basic Education / University of Diyala in the use of punctuation while typing in the sections is jurisdiction. Researcher descriptive approach has been adopted as the curriculum is appropriate for consideration, and may be the research community of students from the third phase of the sections is jurisdiction in the College of Basic Education / University of Diyala. The research sample was selected randomly from the third stage students in the basic / Diyala University College of Education, it consisted of (40) students, and by (20) students from humanitarian departments, and (20) students from academic departments. To achieve the goals of research, the researcher prepare a first test tools represented a freelancer, which were presented to a group of experts and specialists to extract the truth, then created a researcher fortitude to her, After the presentation to the experts and specialists to extract honesty and consistency have created a researcher became final form consisting of 40 items, representing the causes that lead students of the third stage in the College of Basic Education departments of others jurisdiction to weaknesses in the use of punctuation marks from their point of view. The most important statistical methods used in the research are: (center-weighted, and weight percentile, and Pearson correlation coefficient, and the percentage), and the most important findings of the current research is (A weakness in the use of punctuation marks by the students of Basic Education Faculty in sections not competent and that the level of use of punctuation in Jeddah is lower than in the humanitarian sections, and that there are reasons led students to get this weakness, it has varied these reasons, when students all humanitarian and scientific departments and to varying degrees, each according to the weighted average weight percentile).

The study aims at developing art works among secondary school students. The study community consisted of secondary school students from Al Abbara Town for the academic year (2016-2017) .The study sample consisted of 20 male and femal students chosen from (15) secondary Schools randomly , The researcher adopted the descriptive methodology to reach the aims of the study . The study tool was a questionnaire form oriented to secondary school teachers to investigate the difficulties facing the development of student skills in executing art works in secondary schools. The most critical difficulties were giving high scores permanently to the students ; the absence of a curriculum for art education in secondary schools ; the lack of attention of school management to the subject of art education and considering it as a secondary material . |On the light of the results of the study, the researcher proposed certain recommendations and suggestions to complete and develop the current study . The most important recommendation is that the Ministry of Education should provide the schools with the provisions to held art galleries and support them financially ; and including the subject of art education in weekly schedule . The researcher suggested using modern approaches to art works and training the teachers of art education by engaging in workshopsof art skills to help fulfilling the requirements of developing their students according to those skills .

This paper aims at finding out The Effect of the Units Approach in Teaching Arabic Grammar via the Use of Concept Map on the Achievement of Intermediate School Female Students. The researcher stated the following null hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference on the level of (0.05) between the achievement average of female intermediate school students who study Arabic grammar according to the units approach via concept map and the achievement average of female students who study Arabic grammar in the traditional method. Furthermore, the researcher selected Al-Zumur High School for Girls which comprises four second intermediate sections. Section B was randomly selected to represent the experimental group, whereas section A represented the control group. The study sample included (63) female students who were divided into (32) female students in the experimental group, and (31) female students in the control group. Additionally, the researcher matched between the female students in both groups in the following variants (age, mid-year scores in Arabic during the academic year 2015-2016, and parents' achievements). In order to measure the achievement of students in both groups in terms of the taught topics, the researcher set a posttest which comprised (30) objective questions items. Then, she verified its face and content validity by exposing it to a group of experts and specialists in the field of education and methods of teaching Arabic. Moreover, the stability of the posttest was measured via adopting the split-half method by delineating Pearson correlation coefficient, next it was corrected via Spearman-Brown Equation to reach (0.85). this was followed by finding the difficulty coefficient, distinguishing power and distractors' efficacy. The experiment was conducted in the second semester of the 2015-2016 academic year, and lasted for (9) weeks. In addition to that, data were statistically processed via the T-Test. Results of the study mirrored the supremacy of experimental group members who were taught according to the units approach via concept map over their peers in the control group who were taught in the traditional approach with a significant reference in the achievement. In the light of the study results, the researcher recommends using the units approach via concept map in teaching Arabic grammar. Furthermore, suggests conducting another study dealing with different study levels and study topics to figure out the effect of this approach on other variants.
