Abstract
AbstractThe time at which we live is the time of scienceand technology as the scientific inventions and theirtechnological applications successively follow one anotherthe matter which affects an individual›s life both negativelyand positively.Nations with all their power tried to develop theirsocieties both physically and mentally on the basis of thegrave and varied scientific knowledge and the way it canbe obtained and the transferring and comprehending it.The civilization development and culture of the country istherefore measured by the extent of development it gets inthe fields of science and technology.Accordingly the idea and the problem of the researcharose as the research aimed at showing the effect of teachingby using (STSE) approach in achievement and moraljudgment with second-year female intermediate studentsin biology / Karbala – center . To achieve this goal theresearcher put forward the following two null hypotheses :1-There is no statistically significant difference at the levelof (0.05) between the marks average for the female studentsof the experimental group taught following the (STSE)approach and the marks average obtained by the studentstaught following the ordinary method in the achievementtest .السنة الثانية/المجلَّد الثاني/العدد الثاني/الجزء الثاني 31 شوال 1436 ه /أب 2015 م2- There is no statistically significant difference at the levelof ( 0.01) in the stages of the experimental group taught followingthe (STSE) approach and the female students of thegroup taught following the ordinary method in the moraljudgement test .The experimental design with the partial control for thetwo parallel groups :One is experimental and the other is control in the dimensionalachievement test were was used . The researcher intentionallychose Al- Rafah secondary school for girls in theholy Karbala which is considered one of the governmentalday schools falling under the administration of the holyKarbala general educational directorate for the years 2012 /2013 . The school included three sections of the (100) second– year intermediate students ; two sections were randomlychosen (ramdom lot) .
