Alignment between the Blue Ocean Strategy and the Entry and Exit from the Market Strategies and their Impact in Achieving Competitive Advantage: Exploratory Study of a sample of Managers in AI-Rafidain Bank

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the impact of alignment between the Blue Ocean Strategy and the entry and exit from the market strategies and their impact in achieving competitive advantage . In order to achieve this aim, the researchers had concluded a supposed diagram showing the relationship between the variables that had been studied. The research had depended on the study of Blue Ocean Strategy as a dependent variable and strategies for entry and exit from the market as mediating variables, as well as five dimensions representing a competitive advantage as a dependent variable. The sample consisted of (33) managers from AI- Rafidain Bank. The researchers found several results represented in the existence of an alignment between the Blue Ocean strategy and enter and exit early from the market strategy, while there was no alignment with other entry and exit from the market strategies.The research also showed that the Alignment between the Blue Ocean strategy and entry and exit early from the market strategy leads to the acquisition of the Bank under study a competitive advantage.
