Abstract

The study aims to identify the effect of using the mathematical solution of scientific problems in the performance of the sixth practical math teacher in Baghdad in sports topics following strategies:Complex numbers, end, derivation, induction, conclusion, groups, trigonometric functions, differentiation, permutations, scientific performance as a whole.The test was used to solve mathematical problems as a tool to achieve the research hypotheses.Total sample (66) teacher and school jurisdiction of mathematics by (33) teacher and school represent the experimental group in the upbringing of Baghdad's Karkh / 3 and (33) a teacher and school represent the control group in the upbringing of Baghdad's Karkh / 2 for the academic year 2013/2014 were also used means of statistical following :The second test for two independent samples to extract the discriminatory power and extract significant difference between the two sets of searchPilot officer, Pearson correlation coefficient, alpha coefficient Krotbach to extract the reliability coefficient.Results resulted in the sample who are trained to solve problems of scientific personnel doing their good strategy As it turns out there are specialists teams function in the subjects:End, the induction, the conclusion, the experimental exchange for the benefit ofThe topics in the complex numbers, derivation groups, trigonometric functions, differentiation there is no significant difference between the experimental and specialists pressing the two groups.The researcher recommends the promotion and support of the math curriculum for sixth grade science using mathematical problem-solving strategies in line and raise the scientific performance for teachers of this stage and to encourage math teachers to follow a mathematical problem solving through training courses strategy.The researcher suggests a similar study to learn about the use of solving mathematical problems to issues of verbal rhetoric of the fifth and sixth grades of primary and identify the mathematical problems of math topics fourth and fifth grades and scientific strategies.
