((Evaluation of the performance of public relations and information units and its impact in building the reputation of educational institutions in Iraq)) A field study on Tdrisie Iraqi university model

Abstract

The real development of society based on many humanitarian, cultural, social and political factors beside providing the main services for sons of this society and education comes at the beginning in these factors that must be provide to sons of society and also considers basic entry for building and development. In the field of this research, ( evaluation process) for unites of public relations in universities becomes to insure from safety programs of the public relations and determining extend of its abilities for achieving the requested aims during specific stage period. According to above mentioned , this research aiming at evaluation work of media unites in the educational corporations and their role in building and enhancing reputation of these educational corporations by appearing educational corporation activities for knowing extend of interesting on these unites in universities for achieving good reputation. Most important results that researcher reached for evaluation work of media unites ( research subject) on nature of media unities working and relation between media unites and their audience should be a balanced and mutual relation, summed on repeating (72) with percentage (48%) or represent category of reply ( agree) , one of research results also was absence the social tasks for media unities and obtained on repeat (60) with percentage (40%) within group ( not agree) . Absence activity of media unites in covering collage activities , summed on repeat (66) with percentage (44%) within group (not agree) . These results concluded to the following:5-Weaken media unities activity in the educational corporations for covering collage activities that practiced. 6-No existence for media policy planning in media unities.7-Most important media unities obstacles is lack of enough budget for establishment activities and neglecting specialists and professionals of the public relations. 8-Modern technology imposed on working of public relations for achieving communication and enhancing reputation of university through electronic sites and social communication means.
