A Geographical Distribution of the Elements of Secondary Education between Rural and Urban in Diyala Governorate during 2013

Abstract

Education of secondary schools is a link between the primary education and the preparatory one. It is one of the basic pillars of education that nations seek to straighten and develop. This is to establish educational bases that contribute in building human civilizations. The current study is important in detecting the variations in the distribution of the educational institutes (in cities and villages) of the governorate during 2013. This study shows that the number of the secondary schools increases in villages rather than in cities. On the contrary, the number of the pupils increases in cities rather than in villages. On the other hand, the number of the teachers increases in villages while the number of sections of each grade increases in cities.
