Study the Electric Quadrupole Transition (E2) in Sr38 and Zr40 Nuclei

Abstract

Transition strengths [M(E2;2+→0+)]2 W.U. produced by pure electric quadrupole emission in even even isotopes of Sr and Zr liave been calculated and plotted as a fonction for neutron number (N)by using life times of 21+ excited states and the γ0-. intensities . Similar [M(E2)] w.u curves with stable valley ranging between neutron number 48 to 58 have been obtained for Sr and Zr with proton sub-shell closed at38,40 respectively. For sake for comparison Transition strengths [M(E2;2+→0+)]2w.u↓ are converted to reduced transition probabilities B(E2;) e2b2↑for 3sSr ,40Zr nuclides to comparison with other results .
