The Impact of the Curriculum under a Strategy (SWOM) to Teach some Basic Skills and Cognitive Achievement of Futsal for the Girl Students of the of Physical Education and Sports Science College- Basra University

Abstract

The goal of current research is to identify the impact on the educational units under a strategy (SWOM) to learn some basic skills and cognitive achievement for the students of the first stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Science-University of Basra.The samples of the research are intentional first stage students for the academic year (2014-2015) totaling number is (24) student. Where ,they were divided into two groups (experimental and control group) and through the use of test (T-test) of the independent two samples, the results showed statistically significant differences between the results of the average grades for experimental students Group whom were studying according to strategy (SWOM) and the average level students the control group and whom are studying in accordance with the usual method used to learn some basic skills and cognitive achievement in futsal, and in favor of the experimental group .The researcher had been concluded to study the effectiveness of using the learning units under a strategy (SWOM) to teach some basic skills and cognitive achievement in futsal . The recommendation is conducting a similar study of the current study on male students at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Science - Basra Universityj
