The Effectiveness of Multi-media in Teaching and Learning the Pupils of Hearing Impairment (A Case Study of Um-Kalthoum School for Dump, Gezira State, Sudan, 2016)

Abstract

The study aims at designing multi-media program for teaching and learning the pupils who have hearing impairment in the curriculum of Earth is the Environmental Life, unit one (Earth and Universe) for class fifth in Basic level, it also aimed at knowing the effectiveness of the multi-media program in teaching and learning those who have hearing impairment, In addition to, knowing the differences between the results of the pre and the post test (before and after applying the program). The sample of the study contains from the total sample of the pupils of fifth class in Um-Kalthoum School for Dump (8) students consist of (4) males and (4) females. A program of multi-media was designed by Power Point and Call Box contains the first part for the curriculum of Erath is the environmental life for fifth class, Pre and post tests were implemented to measure the extent of multi-media effectiveness in teaching and learning those who have hearing impairment. The study has come to the following findings: the program which was designed by multi-media is characterized by effectiveness, There are statistical differences in the achievement of the pupils before and after the test in vivo of the post test. The study recommends on emphasizing and applying multi-media programs in the curriculum of hearing impairment. The study recommended a number of studies that consider complete the current study
