Abstract
The mosques are the most important religious institutions in Algeria since the Islamic conquest of the Maghreb countries. It was a place of worship and education. Their number has increased over the years ad their activities has expanded especially during the Ottoman era.Algeria was Know during this period by the big number of mosques which were scientific radiation centers and Spreading the Arab-Islamic culture. The mosques were not only a place pf worship but they were also places of boards of Ifta for the Maliki and Hanafi doctrine. And, they were also like courts for adjudicating cases and disputes. And from here, we want to highlight mosques of the town of Algiers during the Ottoman era.
