The reality of the use of integrated education among faculty members University of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz

Abstract

The objective of this study is to know how the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education at Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University is using the Blended Learning in the education process and to what extend is the teaching staff participating in previous training courses in using this Blended Learning and what are the difficulties range that hinder the teaching staff of not using the Blended Learning and come up with recommendations and suggestions. The researcher has followed a description methodology in the study, and the study sample has been consisted from all the members teaching staff in Faculty of Education at Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University in Al Char. The study questioners were distributed to all the teaching members, but only (59) members had fully responded to the study tools. The Study revealed the following 1-The arithmetic mean for how the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education at Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University is using the Blended Learning, in the education process is (3,10), and this falls in the third level of the pentagram standard (mean). This means that the usage percentage of the study members in using the Blended Learning is at the medium standard. 2- (81%) of the teaching staff has previously joined training courses in using Blended Learning in the education field. This reflects a positive level in training and development. 3- By asking those who have got a training course, to identify the place where they had attended those courses. (56%) of them answered they attended these training courses outside the University, this explains that it is not the right time to present a training courses in the study domain in the University Campus on the time being, which requires to devote more effort to cover this aspect. 4-The arithmetic mean for the difficulties level that hinder the teaching staff at Faculty of Education at Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University in using the Blended Learning in the education process reach (3,12). This falls in the fourth category of the pentagram standard (high), and this means there are a number of difficulties and obstacles.
