Abstract

This study deals with the study of an important pillar of the narrative process, but it is the place element in the poetry of Ibn al-Roumi, who is considered one of the great poets of the Abbasid period, as well as the literary product of Thar-Anmaz with the feature of narrative narration in his poetry, which led us to highlight his study. This study was divided into two paragraphs preceded by a prelude. The first part of the introduction is a brief description of the biography of the poet Ibn al-Roumi. In the first and second paragraphs, the talk was about the concept of place in two types: elif and ma'adi, indicating how the poet treated the place that took a distinct area of his poetry
