Describe the physical condition and its relation to the performance of some physical and motor attributes and abilities of students

Abstract

In view of the importance of physical and motor attributes and abilities and their obvious effects in improving the physical, motor and athletic performance of individuals, especially athletes, it has certainly become a wide area for specialists and researchers to study and research, whether for problems or development. As a teacher in the college of physical education and sports sciences, the researcher noticed that there is little interest in knowing how the athlete describes his / her physical condition (which reflects part of his / her own concept) by the medium he belongs to, and the relationship he described to him with his physical and motor performance. This research shows the importance of self-description in the field of physical education and mental health. Therefore, the current research aimed to: Identifying the physical condition of the research sample, and identify the results of the performance of some physical and motor attributes and abilities of students. The researcher used the descriptive method ( survey and correlative studies) to suit the nature of the problem. The research population was fourth year students in the faculty of physical education and sports sciences at Babylon university for the 2015-2016 academic year (115) students, while the sample size was (50) Randomly and by lot (43.48%). However, the researcher concluded that: There was a significant correlation of the physical and motor attributes and abilities of students.
