Abstract

Failure of cognitive and its relationship to academic ambition among fifth-grade preparatory studentsAbstractThe current research aims to identify the level of failure of cognitive and academic level of ambition in the fifth preparatory students depending on the variables of sex (male- females) and academic specialization, and to identify the nature of the relationship between cognitive and academic failure of ambition in the fifth preparatory students. The results showed that the respondents have a high level of failure of knowledge, there are no statistically significant differences between male and female students in the level of failure cognitive differences, and there are significant differences between the fifth scientific and literary students in the level of failure of knowledge and for the fifth literary students. There the study sample significant differences between male and female students in the academic level of ambition, no statistically significant differences between the fifth scientific and literary students in the academic level of ambition differences in favor of the fifth scientific students. There is an inverse relationship between the academic ambition and failure among a sample of cognitive research. From these results researcher appeared a number of recommendations and proposals.
