Abstract

The current research aims to identify the requirements of the lean manufacturing and its ability to achieve strategic success, which contributes to reducing waste in the organization investigated by highlighting the number of personnel working at Hawar Press in Duhok as a sample of the research which consists of (37), The requirements of lean manufacturing and strategic success are important elements of competitive excellence, which aim to reduce waste in the organization and increase its ability to survive against competitors and seize market opportunities for the business environment. Statistical outputs were analyzed and processed statistically and presented using the SPSS-20 statistical package using percentages, arithmetical averages, standard deviations, correlation and effect relationships. The results of the descriptive analysis of the soft manufacturing requirements showed that the total degree of agreement reached (77.71%), And the total degree of agreement of the variables of strategic success reached (72.75%). Based on the hypothesis of the research hypotheses, the research reached (a significant correlation between the requirements of lean manufacturing and strategic success) and the existence of a relationship). One of the most important findings of the research is the pursuit of business organizations to address problems before it occur through the adoption of the continuous improvement method in their work as one of the pillars of lean manufacturing and one of the most important proposals of the research the good and proper application of the philosophy industrial manufacturing philosophy and ensuring that the application is successful As it has a significant impact on the strategic success of the investigated organization.
