Acquiring the number for the Arabic learners as a second language in the Arabic languistics institute in king Saud university in Riyadh

Abstract

The study dealt with the acquisition of the number of learners of the Arabic language as a second language at the Institute of Arabic linguistics at King Saud University in Riyadh; where he faces Arabic-speaking learners to other many difficulties and problems while acquiring the number of rules; and that the complexity of the provisions and rules in the Arabic language.The study sought to achieve a number of objectives, which are: knowledge of the mistakes made by the Arab language learners as a second language when their use of the rules of number, and identify the weaknesses they have, and the statement of the differences between levels of students in the acquisition of number rules, and find out the role of the courses offered to them at the Institute of Arabic linguistics King at the University of Saud in helping them acquire the language, and to provide successful solutions to address these errors; therefore researcher followed the statistics analytic descriptive method, to achieve these goals through choosing a random sample of students of Arabic Linguistics Institute at KSU numbered (24) students, evenly divided on the second level, and the level IV, and of the master's students.
