Abstract

The study aimed to identify:1. cognitive structure among university students.2. Statistically significant differences in cognitive structure variable depending on the sex and specialization.3. The level of workmanship motivation among university students. 4. Statistically significant differences in motivation workmanship sold to the variable sex and specialization.5. Strength and direction of the relationship between cognitive structure and motivation workmanship.Research community (7467) students from the College of Basic Education students made up the morning preliminary studies at Al-Mustansiriya University.Stratified random sample equal number researcher has chosen, and the sample of (340) students.Researcher relied on two tools to achieve the goals discussed two (cognitive architecture) and (motivation workmanship)The researcher has built a cognitive structure scale depending on the theoretical definition and literature and previous studies put the researcher (20) items measure all of the cognitive structure, and put five graded alternatives, namely, (a very large, large, medium, small, very small), and given grades (5.4 0.3, 2, 1) positive for paragraphs and vice versa paragraphs negative. The psychometric properties were exhumed represented honesty and consistency, as well as discrimination paragraphs.The second measure, which is the motivation of workmanship of (25) items and put three alternatives measure motivation for mastering) grades are given when the patch (2.1, 1), respectively, toward the measurement attribute.The psychometric properties of the extracted represented in the validity and reliability.Moreover, used appropriate statistical methods both in research procedures or in its results, it has reached a researcher to:2.
