Difficulties Faced by Intermediate School Students in Art Education

Abstract

The current research deals with the difficulties faced by the intermediate school students in the area of art education. A questionnaire was constructed to find out all the difficulties facing the intermediate school students in the education of art education. The study aims at recognizing the difficulties which the students face in the area under study. To achieve the aims of the study, the researcher constructed a scale to measure the difficulties facing the intermediate school students in art education. The scale was applied to a sample of (50) students who were selected by the intentional method from Al-Adala Intermediate School for Boys which belongs to the General Directorate of Education of Diyala / Baquba. After collecting and processing the data statistically using weighted mean, percent weight, the study findings showed that there is a statistical indication that there are difficulties faced by intermediate school students in art education The study ends up with a number of recommendations and suggestions
