A comparative analytical study of the index of some biomechanical variables during the shooting phase determined in three points between the local and Professional players in the basketball

Abstract

The study aims at:1 - Identify the amount of indicator of some biomechanical variables for the shooting stage when performing the skill of shooting determined by three points in the basketball in the sample of the research.2 - Identify the difference between professional and local players in the amount of the index of some biomechanical variables of the shooting stage when performing the skill of shooting calculated by three points in the research sample.The descriptive approach was used as a manner of survey to solve the research problem. The sample included some of advanced basketball players’ segments (South Oil Club – Mina Club - Shorta Club)2017-2018 where(6)local players (Iraq) and (6) professional players (multinational). The experiment was conducted on 22 - 24 - 28/10/2017 on the sample of the research. A video camera was used during the experiment. It also used a program for analysis of mathematical skills(Dart Fish)to derive the biomechanical variables, after all data treated by computer according to the statistical program SPSS Ver 19.1 - There is a significant difference between the value of the mechanical work variable between the professional players and the local and for the benefit of professionals.3 - There is no significant difference between the values of the power variable between the professional players and the local, but there are differences in the virtual values of this variable and professionals.The main recommendations are:In light of the conclusions, the researcher recommends what follows:2 - Make sure the use of force exercises for the arms and legs during the training modules of local players.4 - The need to emphasize the increase of exercises during the training units to perform the skill of remote shooting of the local players.
