Anxiety exam in middle school students

Abstract

The current research is defined by the intermediate stage students in Baghdad governorate/Directorate of Risafa 1 Education of both sexes (males-females) for the intermediate second class. The researcher has displayed a number of theories addressing the research variable, and adopted the foreign (Sarason, 1980) scale to measure the examination stress which consisted of 34 items in its final form after the researcher translated it into Arabic and extracted its translation validity to make it suitable to the Iraqi environment. The discrimination power, the facial and constructive validity and the reliability were extracted in three methods: Alfa Cronbach, re-test and Hoyt method, and then the scale in its final form was applied to the research sample (200) male and female students. Within the light of this research, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions to conduct future researches.
