Designing a Tool for Measuring Skill Performance Measuring and Accuracy for Straight Knocks of Young Boxers

Abstract

One of the features of noble art sport requires bearing in performance related to accuracy to achieve knocks in legally specified places in order to conquer competitors. Straight knock is one of the main skills in boxing that boxers should master. It should be performed according to different matches with perfect style. The researchers do not follow previous tests and standards in boxing rather than they design a test for skill performance bearing and its accuracy by using a computerized system to measure the straight knocks in accordance with actual performance in boxing matches. The present research aims to:•Design and manufacture a suggested tool to measure skill performance bearing and accuracy in straight knock for young. •Identifying the differences between the three rounds to test skill performance bearing and its accuracy for straight knock.The hypotheses of this research are as follows:•The manufactured tool measures and tests skill performance bearing and its accuracy for straight knock of young.•There are coefficient differences between the three rounds represented by testing skill performance bearing and its accuracy.The researchers conclude that:•The manufactured tool measures the skill performance bearing and its accuracy and it suits the subjects of the study.•The manufactured tool is of high accuracy in measuring (the number and accuracy of successful and failed knocks)The researchers recommend that:•Emphasizing special exercises similar to the features and characteristics of boxing during practice course.•The tool designed by the researcher can be used to check the level of performance bearing and its accuracy for boxers.
