The level of implementation of strategic planning in the college of Education for Humanities

Abstract

The study aims at determining the level of implementation of strategic planning in the college of Education for Humanities - University of Diyala. The sample of the Study consists of (179) teaching staff members. The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for the current study which consisted of (42) items distributed over five aspects. The tool was carried out in academic year of 2018-2019. The results of the study were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods.Results demonstrated the following :1.The level of implementation of the strategic planning of the axes as a whole was (high) as it was calculated with a mean (3.70) and a standard deviation of (0.69).2.The aspect of Strategic Action ranked first with a mean (3.84), and a standard deviation was (0.72) with high rate. The aspect of strategic objectives ranked second with a mean of 3.72 and a standard deviation of 0.72 with a high rate. (3.73) and a standard deviation of (0.73) and an estimate (high). The strategic message axis ranked fourth with a mean (3.69), and a standard deviation of (0.76) and an estimate of (high) rate (3.57) However the aspect of Strategic vision ranked fifth with mean of 3.5u and standard deviation (0.74) with an estimated (high rate).3.The number of items that received a (very high) rate was (10) items, and the number of items that have received a (high rank ) was (18) items , and the number of items that received an estimate of an average rank was (13) items, and the number of items that have achieved Low rank was (1) item.
