Problems faced by teaching students in the Department of the Kurdish language at the Faculty of Education - Claire during the period of application

Abstract

The study aims at introducing the teaching problems that the fourth year students in Kurdish department face during the application period. To achieve this aim the researcher has chosen the fourth year students in Kurdish department for the academic year 2009-2010 as a sample for the study constituting (84)male and female students. After preparing a questionnaire as a tool (method, means) for the study, it has been presented to (submitted) a group of experts and specialists in the field of education to make sure of its validity and it has gained a 83% of their agreement .Also the stability of the questionnaire has been verified through applying it to the students using (correlation factor)Pearson and a rate of association (0,81) has been gained , also it has been corrected by (sperman-Brown)formula , the stability was (0,96)and thus the method has been applied to the sample of the study . After analyzing (concluding) the results, it was clear that the main problems that the students of Kurdish department face during the application period are the limited time of the lesson, the schools lack of the necessary educational tools, and the great number of the students in each class.
