Internet Addiction and Its Relationship with Academic Self-Efficacy among Students of the College of Education for Women

Abstract

The research aims to identify:1. The level of addiction to the Internet among students of the College of Education for Women.- 2 Differences for statistically significant in Internet addiction level by specialization variable (Scientific _ Human).3-The level of academic self-efficacy among students of the College of Education for Women.4-Differences for statistically significant in the Level of Academic Self efficacy by Specialization Variable (Scientific _ Human) – 5-The nature of the correlation between Internet addiction and academic self-efficacy among students of the College of Education for Women. The researcher has prepared the first tool (Internet addiction) and has been identified four areas of this scale. they are (misuse, negative impact, withdrawal, mood adjustment.). At the end it consists of (40) paragraphs. As for the second tool, academic self-efficacy The scale of al-Jaburi was adopted (2018), And at the end it consists of (40) paragraph. Also, the researcher used his research tool-Internet addiction and academic self-efficacy on a sample of students of the College of Education for women and the scientific and humanitarian branch by (200) students, and after processing the data statistically. The researcher has reached the following results:1 -Respondents have Internet addiction and they have a high effectiveness of academic self- 2 There is no significant difference in addiction to the Internet and difference in the effectiveness of academic self-students according to the variable of specialization 3-There is a positive relationship between Internet addiction and academic self-efficacy
