Prison and the Fate of Political Narratives

Abstract

Subject of prison forms one of the coffins (Taboos) that dangerous in Iraqi narrative as concern to other three taboos: policy, religion and gender, every writer and these one of authority precautions to be alert of (Involving) in it or merely approach to it. But we found it is from adventure in that challenge, to ride difficulties of adventures, to fulfill banned provocative victory (Either in the exile or after remove danger as we will see in histories of fulfillment and incompliance publishing),In this research, we will be restricted by reading two novels of “ ZUHAIR ALJAZAERY “ edge of resurrection, fair, fearful, and in conclusion we will move (Away from history) for novel (East of Mediterranean) because it is the mother novel which delivered all Iraqi novels especially and Arab novels in general, and this its special privilege that will penetrate every determine and timing. The matter here not related to international art or conceptual adequacy which composed by this novel (Items of international declaration for human rights which are affixed as general outcome and others). It is not by its efficacy and effectiveness as the matter is concern to quality of receiving that faced it. In suppressed cultural environment still oppositions forces suffer from injustice and oppression in practice their political, struggle and humanity roles even inside closed offices for culture elites are joined under power protection or which are dismissed from these heavy protection The inflammation of fury are hidden in innermost of prisoners, and in prison writing were taken to it different rhythm which it is a result from activities, achieved practices or will be fulfilled by violence or multiple violence which made by jailer in aggressive authority will be not prevented by law or legislation or constitution from: torture, to curb freedoms and to mute mouths. The writing is an action as it is thought by phenomenal, Existentialism and before them Marxism. The writing is an effect as shown by semiotics, and distinctive space engraving as stated by decomposition. This action will not be made nor that effect or that distinctive inscription only if providing air of freedom, hopes are refreshed under democracy dome contains all and not leave one. At that time writing will be recovered, to be eternity in memory of future and to get capacity of (Spread worlds). Circulation of worlds is not personal way, not way of expression, nor form, nor reconstruction, or engraving of sign, or possibility to bring new markers. And not to make writing overtakes itself to be attracted to knowledge exceeds it. And it is not as a label for certain marks about determined speech. And it is not for difference of writing to describe variation in writing. It is not like protect literature kind against terror or blindness or destructive daily threat which presents itself with various faces.
