Abstract

The metaphor is one of the most important subjects that occupied the ancient and modern scholars, it is a rhetorical style that spread in ancient and modern studies, so I conducted a linguistic study in the interpretation of the book of Amda AL-hafidh in the interpretation of the Ashraf Alafadh. One of the most important reasons behind choosing this study, is my love to the Holly Book as well as rhetorically. Based on these reasons the study necessitated to be in linguistic metaphor. The study was divided into two sections, the first section defines linguistic metaphor terminology. While the second section mentioned some places of metaphor in the interpretation of the Amda AL-hafidh, but systematic this research has been on the follows: First, mention the words of al-Halabi in the interpretation of the verse and its metaphor, and then rooting the word in which the metaphor is located in the lexicons of language, and then I analyze the borrowed word and the type of metaphor and the statements of the interpreters. The researcher had concluded the search by conclusion and then sources and references.
