Abstract

The study deals with the assessment of the landscape of Al-Alam city which requires identifying the main purposes of the land and to assess them according to its arability and suitability. It also requires to identify dangerous lands and problems and ways of resolving them through finding better Solutions. It requires to establish representative data that can create a balance between man and his surrounding environment. This study is based on field work due to small space which makes it difficult to have a study based on charts and visual aids. The study also depends on applying methods of field research and interviews with old people in addition to collecting maps of the region under the study.
