Abstract

The present research aims at identifying the effect of active learning on the achievement of the economic material in the sixth grade students. To achieve the research objective, the researcher adopted the experimental method and through verifying the following zero hypothesi : There were no statistically significant differences at (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group who studied economics according to the active learning strategies and the average score of the students of the control group who study the same subject (in the traditional way. The sample consisted of (64) students of the sixth grade literary literature (32) students for the experimental group, and (32) students for the control group in the secondary Ghassanah for girls, and the equivalence between the two groups in the variables. The researcher prepared a tool to measure the dependent variable, which was the multi-choice selection test, The validity of the test and its stability and the calculation of its cykometric properties were tested. The test was carried out at the end of the experiment. 14/2/2018 to 9/4/2018. The results were used using the T-test. The results showed the following :The students of the experimental group who study economics according to the active learning strategies of the students of the control group who study the same subject (in the traditional way) in the achievement test. Active learning achieves self-confidence and self-reliance. In addition to the ease of use of active learning in an applied manner.
