Towards Pivatization and Consumer Pprotection in Iraq A Reading of Consumer Protecting Act No. (1) for 2010

Abstract

Abstract:- Privatization is considered as one of the methods that countries use in following the economic reformation policy to overcome the problems and difficulties of economic activities.After 2003, Iraq witnessed a number of political, economic and social, and changes resulted in a notable change in the economic system which moved from the planned system (public) to the free private economic system (market economics). This change is not new in Iraq; it belongs to the eightieths of the last century, it increases due to the calls of the politicians to go towards privatizing the economy neglecting its effect on the costumer who would be the victim of the cheated commodities and the importers and exporters cheating as well.This research focuses on the importance of providing the consumer under such conditions and the founding the suitable environment to the economic reformation to support privatizing process.It aims to study and evaluate all the available means of protecting the consumer in Iraq by reading costumer protecting Act No. (1) for 2010.
