Abstract

Summary The subject of educational and intellectual values has received great attention from specialists in education and others, as values are one of the objectives of education, and that the most important functions of education is the preservation of cultural heritage, which gives man a way of life, patterns of behavior and values, customs and traditions. Religious values, and the resulting educational and intellectual values in the educational system, are essential to the success of the educational process and directed towards the realization of human construction and behavior modification by educating the values to guide the members of society towards the right education. And to face the dangers of the intellectual invasion of university education, which affected the movement of education and spread outrageous among all groups of society, including university youth. The research aims to shed light on the role of the university in instilling the educational and intellectual values of the renaissance Husseini among university students by identifying some of the educational and intellectual values contained in the renaissance of Imam Hussein in order to build a value and intellectual system that contributes to solving the educational problems experienced by university students. A historical research methodology based on scientific analysis and conclusion was used to arrive at historical facts. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: the educational and intellectual values are one of the main guarantees to achieve the objectives of education in our Islamic societies, and these values must acquire the character of inclusiveness and integration in all aspects of ethical, doctrinal and spiritual, in which all human relations with God and himself and others, and are linked The educational and intellectual values of the Husseiniyya renaissance are intrinsically linked to the culture of the Islamic Ummah; the Islamic educational values must be separated from the influences of the cultural invasion of Western values, in order to preserve their specificity and sustainability in making a healthy civilized reality.
