SOME FACTORS OF ACCEPTANCE OF MODERN GRICULTRAL TECHNOLOGY FOR PROTECTED VEGTABEL FARMERS IN THE DISTRICT OF SAMARRA.

Abstract

The research was aimed to identify the mean and correlation matrix among the acceptance factors of modern agricultural techniques by protected vegetables farmers in Samarra district, test pathway model impact of factors in the acceptance of modern technology , modify and test the already been modified model of modern technology acceptance factors impact, and determinate direct and indirect effect of factors in the acceptance of modern technology in protectorate vegetables. The research included 105 respondent from the farmer’s vegetables was selected according to the Krejici and Morgan equation of a large community of 550 farmers. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data from the respondents. It consisted of two parts: the first part included a measure of the factors related to the acceptance Modern agricultural technology in protected vegetable cultures, Cronbach’s-Alpha coefficient was used to measure the stability of the measuring a tool. The stability value was 0.73 and the coefficient of validity was 0.85. Several statistical methods were used to analyze the data. The researchers concluded that the factors associated with acceptance of modern agricultural technology have high correlation coefficient And strong and is divided into direct and indirect impact on the extent of acceptance of farmers and their reliance on modern agricultural techniques, and the factors of acceptance of the technology was divided into external factors and factors influenced by the influence of a structural model applied to the data of the sample of respondents. The researchers recommended that is importance to take into account these factors when transferring technology to farmers and importance of focusing on external factors in the modified model.
