Impact of the Israeli occupation on the educational process in schools in the Palestinian Valley

Abstract

The research aims to determine the extent of the Israeli Occupation effect on the educational process in Palestinian valley from the perspectives of the teachers, via studying the effect of the Israeli checkpoints and the children labor at the Israeli checkpoint and the children labor at the Israel settlements in the Palestinian valley the researchers also determined the variable such as, gender, scientific qualification and the place of Work. The researchers used the descriptive methodology, which fits the nature of the research aims. Regarding the research function, it was Questionnaire which includes, at the end of its shape, 29 paragraph, divided into 2 fields which are: The checkpoints field, the texts (1-14), the second one is the children labor filed. It includes the texts (15-29) .it was distributed for the sample(51) teachers (males and females).this is the percentage of 23% from the society of the study which included 223teachers, including 133 male teachers and 90 female teachers these were distributed for Bardal ayn albeda, Al-aqrabania Al Jeftlek froosh Bet-dajan, Marj Alghazal, Alzbeedat and Marj najeh. The percentages and average educates were taken via the SPSS, the (T.test) for the independent sample, also the test (One Way Anova) helped us to have the following results. The extent of the Israeli occupation Effect on the educational process in Palestinian Valley according to the teachers point of view was very high on the Questionnaire field and in its total field. It also shows that there are no statistical function differences in the Israeli occupation effect on the educational process in the Palestinian valley according to the teachers point of view that are related to the gender and the scientific qualification. It shows that there are statistical differences in the Israeli occupation Effect on the educational process in the Palestinian valley according to the teachers view that are related to the place of work variable these differences were for the sake of the teachers at the Palestinian valley. According to the previous mentioned results the researchers showed the following recommendations:• The Palestinian National Authority should monitor to apply parents laws that prohibit the employment of children in all regions in general, and in areas of the Palestinian Valley and areas near the settlements in particular. • To impose restrictions that prevent child labor in the settlements and agricultural areas controlled by the occupation authorities. • The Palestinian National Authority should find out alternative workplaces for people with Children who go to work to contribute to the support of their families and help them. • Supplying the necessary support to the areas of the Palestinian Valley and that contributes to the Palestinians capitalists to establish productive projects which appropriate to the nature of those areas. • The need for appointment of school teachers regions of the northern Palestinian Valley from the people of those areas because teachers fro others areas face difficulties in passing through the checkpoints daily. • To invite the researchers to take into consideration the Israeli issues and practices; hidden and organized, towards the Palestinian educational process in particular and in other scopes of life in general in Palestinian valleys area.
