The Oriental Claim And the Samerists Claims for the Lore of Prophet Mohammad's(PBUH) Prophetness. A Study in the Oriental View of the Islamic Knowledge

Abstract

The Islamic knowledge office is regarded as the greatest work the orientalists have done, a lot of them take part in writing it. They intend to write Islamic encyclopedia specialized in the history of Islamic civilization, they tried ( through it) to gather everything related to the Islamic civilization and its countries. This will be in a form of alphabetically arranged essays, this encyclopedia aimed to be the primary source for a lot of studies for western orienalists, it is written in many languages (English, French and German). Though this work is done scientifically , we find unjust and inadequateness in the opinions of some essays towards the prophet(PBUH) and the Islamic mission. Some orientalists see that the prophet (PBUH) got his divine knowledges from other books of Christianity and Judaism the holy and semi-holy ones equally. They think the prophet (PBUH) obtained these knowledges through his meetings with some Christians and Judaists. We find through this study an appeal which claimed that the prophet gets his divine knowledge from Samerists. For this reason, the study focuses on mentioning these origins through the Islamic knowledge office ( Islamic encyclopedia in its first and second editions.
