Sense of Conditional “in” and “iza” ”in “Sahih Muslim

Abstract

The Holy Quran and the Purified Sunna are both inspired by Allah. however,Quran is inspired both in sense and text while the Prophetic Sunna isinspired in sense rather than text as is said by Allah, “ “ Najm surat, 3-4.In the Prophetic Sunna as well as in the Holy Quran, there are specialexpression styles that didn’t used to be common among Arabs like the senseof conditional “in” and “iza” (if). Arabs consider them synonyms. Though,according to the Prophetic literature, each of these has a distinctive sense. Theresearcher has chosen “Sahih Muslim” as a research data field for this topic.The paper consists of an abstract, a forward, three chapters, a conclusion,and references. The abstract shows the reason of choosing the subject and thepaper plan, the forward defines the sense and condition in dictionary and terminology.Chapter one is dedicated for the sense of conditional “iza” in “SahihMuslim” while chapter two is dedicated for the sense of conditional “in” in“Sahih Muslim”. Then there is chapter three which is dedicated for the hadithswhere conditional “iza” and “in” are found in a text at a time. this is in order toshow the difference between them. The conclusion states the most importantresults reached by the researcher. Finally, there is the list of references used inwriting this paper.
