Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of teaching according to the Appleton model on the productive thinking of fourth-grade students in the subject of biology. The researchers used the experimental design with partial control for two equal groups. The researchers chose from Baghdad College’s secondary school intentionally not as a result of the experiment and the group was chosen The control and experimental group were randomized and the selection was Division F represents the experimental that was studied according to the Ableton model, and Division G represents the control that studied in the usual way and all the number of students of the sample (56) students. The results showed the superiority of the experimental group over the control group in productive thinking
