The effect of compound exercises to develop motor response speed and serving reception skill in Volleyball

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of compound exercises on developing the speed of the motor response and the skill of receiving the serving in volleyball. The researchers used the experimental approach with two pre and post tests. The research sample consisted of (12) players representing the Anbar University team in volleyball, after that the pre-tests were conducted on the research sample and then the main experiment of the research was carried out on the research sample for a period of (6) weeks and by two units per week, after which the post-tests were conducted and the data were recorded in a record . After The data were processed statistically and the results were discussed in a scientific discussion based on the experience of researchers and scientific sources. The researchers concluded compound exercises achieved an improvement in the speed of the motor response and the skill of serving reception in volleyball . In the light of conclusions , the researchers recommended to prepare new exercises for volleyball similar to other cases of play.
