Social Life in The Book of (Muhatharat Al-Udabaa wa Muhawarat Al-Shuaraa wa Al-Al-Bulagaa) Lectures of Writers and The Dialogue of Poets and Eloquence for Ragheb Asfahani (D. 502 A.H.) - Historical Study
Abstract
This study tries to reveal the ethics in Arabic-Islamic community in the book Social Life in The Book of (Muhatharat Al-Udabaa wa Muhawarat Al-Shuaraa wa Al-Al-Bulagaa) Lectures of Writers and The Dialogue of Poets and Eloquence for Ragheb Asfahani (D. 502 A.H.), in which the ethics are classified as good morals containing: good characters, respect for neighbors, courage, honesty, loyalty, generosity, humility. As for the bad morals contained: bad behavior, lying, hypocrisy, envy, arrogance, treachery, injustice. Ragheb Al-Asfahani gave several examples and historical stories in different Islamic Ages about good and bad morals that the research discussed.
