Attitudes of students / teachers towards the teaching profession of chemistry in the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences - Ibn AL-Haytham

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to know the attitudes of students / teachers towards the profession of teaching chemistry in the College of Education for Pure Sciences - Ibn Al Haytham. The research experiment was applied in the second semester of the academic year (2018-2019) on an intentional sample from the fourth grade students from the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences - Ibn Al-Haytham, the research sample consisted of (40) male and female students (18) students and (22) (A student was chosen randomly. The two researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach, which is one of the common forms of research in describing and analyzing the results of the responses of students of the fourth stage / Department of Chemistry (individuals of the research sample). Paragraph has been verified as to the sincerity of its construction and its stability. The stability coefficient is (0.90) using the Vakronbach equation. The results showed that there are no significant differences in the attitudes of students / teachers towards the teaching profession between males and females and that the gender variable has no effect on the attitudes of students / teachers towards the teaching profession.
