The Arabic Grammatical Lesson between Spontaneous Development and the External Influence

Abstract

The aim of the present study is to show the difference between spontaneous development in the Arabic grammatical lesson and the external influence. Also, it aims to display the influence of this development upon the terminology, the methodology, and the inherited concepts of the Arabic grammar. The idea of the research is the attempt to connect the Arabic grammatical output before and after the entrance of the linguistic studies upon grammar and to display the contrast between them and the loss and benefit in the purposes of the Arabic grammar.The Arabic grammatical lesson was emerged innately and authentically and developed in a standard time. Moreover, it reached a special stage of scientific and methodological stability. It has developed till it reached its wonderful richness and its terminology and concepts interred in the depth of the Holy Qur’an studies and Al- Hadith studies besides the analyses of the literary texts. Because some of the Arab scholars who were interested in the modern linguistics, there were attempts to change the style of the scholastic of the Arabic grammar. Mostly, this leads to negative results which influence the grammatical aims of the Arabic grammar. The development should be spontaneous keeping the aims of grammar and the dealings with external impact should be within a chain of methodological intellectual studies which determine the dimensions of benefits and disbenefits which could be reached through these studies.
