Ease of access to the Educational Services in the AL-Khuder City for the Academic Year (2018-2019)

Abstract

The present research aims to demonstrate the importance of accessibility to educational services and its impact on their functional efficiency in the city of Al-Khuder and the extent to which this indicator is adopted in planning and distributing these services, as the study showed the existence of ease of access in secondary and primary services, unlike kindergarten and intermediate services, as it needs re-planning. The population of Al-Khuder city reached (44,600 persons) and the number of its neighborhoods was (31) residential neighborhoods, in which educational services were distributed inefficiently, as there is one kindergarten serving the city, (20 schools) elementary, (3) intermediate schools, two preparatory schools, and (6) High schools. The scope of service analysis (GIS) was approved to determine the accessibility of these services.
