Abstract

The research aims to study the relationship between two variables, namely the management of green human resources and competitive advantages in the General Company for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra, by examining the theoretical foundations for assessing green human resources management and competitive advantages, as well as identifying the level of green human resource management and competitive advantages, represented by The importance of research with an active contribution to the need to apply green human resource management in order to achieve competitive advantages. The descriptive aspect was relied on by adopting the questionnaire because it fits a lot of descriptive and exploratory research and studies. The form was distributed to a random sample of (74) people working for the General Company for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Samarra. The research used a number of statistical methods for the purpose of analyzing data using the statistical program SPSS, 23. The research concluded with a set of conclusions as: There is a significant effect of the overall elements of green human resources combined in the dimensions of competitive advantages (flexibility, quality, cost, and creativity) and that this effect means the more green human resources practices in the company the research sample increases its ability to achieve competitive advantages in it And a set of recommendations that are consistent with these conclusions, such as: The need for the company’s management to pay attention to competent individuals who apply green human resource practices and care for them by developing their capabilities and skills and participating in functional, training and development activities to improve their performance, which creates an appropriate atmosphere to achieve competitive advantages in the company.
