The Effect of an Educational Program that is Based on Bass'es Theory for Developing self-awareness and Decreasing the Psychological Disorientation for Students of Preparatory Schools

Abstract

The aim of this research is to build an educational program based on Bass'es theory for developing self-awareness among students of preparatory schools. To achieve the objectives of the research two hypotheses were formulated, one experimental group, the research community its sample was selected. The measure self-awareness contains (26) items divided into five filed. The psychological Disorientation measure contains (40) items. Its validity and reliability were derived from and based on the Self-Awareness measure which is an educational program This educational program was applied on the research sample that consists of (12) students. The results statistically showed a significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) for the experimental group in the pre and post- test in the two measures of self-awareness and psychological Disorientation.
