Abstract

The scientific development in all sciences of knowledge and in the field of physicaleducation in particular, makes it imperative for us to follow sound scientific formulasin programming sports training processes and the development in different areas oflife in order to achieve the best levels, as several different sciences have overlapped inthe training process such as sports medicine and sports physiology And biochemistry,sports psychology and sociology that the adaptations that occur to the variousfunctional systems in the body come from the regularity of the process of sportstraining based on the application of modern scientific foundations and theseadaptations have a great impact In developing the individual's athletic level, inaddition to its work in quickly returning the individual to his natural state to the preeffort,which is an indication for the development of the training state, deficient and atthe present time the physiognomy devices have developed and have come to measuremost of the functional indicators in a direct way with accurate results that are almosterror-free. In the case of its correct use, and among these devices or supplies is thefitness equipment (fit mate pro), which was used for the first time in Iraq in 2009, asthrough it the training programs or tests are evaluated, and from which the trainingstatus of the player is evaluated.Through it the training programs or tests are evaluatedand the player's training status is evaluated and this device measures a set offunctional indicators, especially the maximum oxygen consumption (VO2 MAX),energy spent upon effort and metabolic rate (RMR) (Spend energy while at rest).The research problem implied that the physiological variables of the player differfrom one game to another as it depends on the type of activity practiced (and moreprecisely on the energy systems used in that activity) that the emergence of someplayers in the two university teams (basketball and volleyball) and despite theA difference in the energy systems used in these two activities, the need to search forthe role of physiological variables and their impact on performance, and here lies theresearch problem, which is a comparative study of these two variables in these twoactivities (basketball and volleyball) or in different activities through differences Andthe linkages that exist between them, in addition to their impact on the sportingactivities in practice (and thus we reach the scientific basis for selecting players whoare qualified to represent the university in the Iraqi universities' forums). The researchaims to measure the physiological variables of the university team players inBasketball and volleyball, knowing the correlation between these variables among theuniversity team players in the two games of basketball and volleyball. As for theresearch hypotheses, there are statistically significant differences in the physiologicalvariables between the players of the university teams (the basketball team and thevolleyball team).The two researchers reached conclusions that included statistically significantsignificant differences for the variable to the maximum oxygen consumption (VO2),but not significant for the two groups.The two researchers recommend: Conductingsimilar studies on different age groups, the necessity to rely on the use of the energyexpended variable during effort, the VO2MAX variable and the heart rate, which isone of the main factors for athletic achievement. Make sure teachers and those incharge of the training process need to periodically monitor the functional indicators Associated with the training status and the development of the physical and functionallevel and to codify the training curricula used
