Abstract

This research aimed to identify non-adaptive cognitive schemes and their relationship to suicidal tendencies for teenagers, and the researcher reached the results, the most important of which are:Individuals of the research sample possessing non-adaptive cognitive schemes in degrees of statistical significance according to the results that emerged through the analysis of their responses to the research scale, and their lack of suicidal tendencies according to the results that emerged through the analysis of their responses on the research scale, as well as there are statistically significant differences between the individuals of the research sample in non-adaptive cognitive schemes and suicidal tendencies according to the variables of gender, academic specialism, and there is no difference according to the type of housing.
