Abstract

K. Cornwills was an expert on Iraqi affairs, and very familiar with the conditions of Iraq, because he held the position of advisor to the Ministry of the Interior since the formation or first ethnic ministry after the crowning of King Faisal II on August 23, 1921 until 1935 when Rashid Ali Al-Kelani completed his services In the era of the Ministry of Yassin al-Hashemi. When he assumed his duties as an ambassador for his country, he sent a large number of telegrams, notes and reports to his officials in the British Foreign Ministry that included wide and complex issues, and a number of them were presented and a number of them were selected and were found in the British Public Records Department PRO to accumulate the subject of this research and they constitute an important milestone in the history of Iraq .
