Bullying and its relationship to academic performance among middle school students

Abstract

The current research aimed at identifying the level of school bullying and academic performance, as well as knowing the relationship between them among middle school students according to the gender variable (male - female). The research sample reached (150) male and female students, and the researcher built the bullying scale and after presenting the paragraphs to the arbitrators and statistically analyzing it, the scale in its final form became composed of four fields and (38) paragraphs . goodAs for the second variable, academic performance, the researcher built the scale and after presenting the paragraphs to the arbitrators and analyzed it statistically, the scale became its final image in its form consisting of five fields and (40) paragraphs. After extracting the honesty of the two scales, the researcher applied the two scales to the basic sample of the research, and the results showed: - The sample did not have bullying behavior, and there is a good level of academic performance. There is a negative negative correlation between bullying and academic performance. Through the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposals
