The role of knowledge management strategies in developing job performance (Analysis study of a sample of faculty members in the College of Administration and Economics / University of Kufa)
Abstract
Abstract:-The current research discusses the role of knowledge management strategies improvisation elements (knowledge organizing, knowledge sharing, knowledge storing, realizing the role of knowledge management, knowledge applying) in order to developing the job performance and its dimensions represented by (task performance, contextual performance) among a sample of faculty members in the College Administration and Economics / University of Kufa, as a sample consisting of (100) teachers were selected distributed among the scientific departments in the college. After collecting data using the questionnaire, the research used the (spss) program to test the relationship and effect between the two variables. The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that all correlations were positive between the two variables of the research (knowledge management strategies and job performance). This indicates the researched college’s interest in the dimensions of knowledge management strategies for developing job performance, which in turn will reflect its ability to achieve its goals. Formulating a set of recommendations, the most important of which was that the college administration should give the topic of developing and updating technical means the utmost importance, provided that the update is constantly to keep pace with the development in technology and in a way that enables the college administration to store knowledge, facilitate the process of retaining, applying, and retrieving it.
